  1. I have core 4x4 too. Great product.
  2. Should be pin 17 on the red connector.
  3. I used the AC request from the Jeep HVAC controls into the 411 PCM. It will then handle the idle and fans for you. The tach output worked fine using the output from the GM 411 PCM Pin 10 Red. Set the Tach output in the PCM to 12v pullup. No pull up resister needed. I never managed to get the speed into the PCM to work accurately even with the Dakota Digital box. Not that I needed it because I am running a manual, it does cause issues for the Cruise Control. It will be a spring job to finally figure that out. The CC ran for a while, when I first did the build but not now. Need to go back to basics.
  4. Don't forget to use silicone around the knock sensor seals. They fail very often and water gets into the knock sensor tube's. There is a TSB on this where GM also recommends making a dam of silicone across the valley cover to stop water ingress.
  5. Ford Explorer is a popular option too.
  6. WJB are a US company based in California. Been around a long time. They are a quality product. They manufacture in the US and China just like Timken does. I think you will be fine. It is not like they will get a lot of wear.
  7. It is a complete pain to work on. You get to respect how much room an MJ has under the hood to work on the engine. It is fun to drive, she rips.
  8. The hood warped on one side. Baja fiber didn't have enough thickness on the side braces and caused the hood to bow. Always a risk with Fiberglass. Especially if it gets really hot. I could cut it and get it to lay flat, but it is a lot of work and probably cheaper to wait for a new one.
  9. Very cool MJ. Well done. LS for the win!!
  10. Very well-deserved recognition. Saw the Comanche up close at SEMA. A hell of a job. This truck at SEMA has brought lots of attention to the Street Comanche. Tons of people were looking at it. And you have resurrected the Baja Fiber Rubicon hood, which is really cool too
  11. Comanche Dawn is in hibernation for the winter. Waiting on a new hood from OffgridResearch. Got my painter all lined up when it is done. Spring tasks will be to troubleshoot the cruise control. Had it working then it stopped. Also need to get a tune.
  12. Sorry I have been so quiet. Been really busy. Finally got to work on the Syclone it is in pieces. Had to do the valve stem seals. Very common problem on the V6 Vortec. I am switching to E85. So 80lb injectors, TurboTweaks chip and a Racetronix fuel pump. Also converting all the hose to silicone. Syclone is all vacuum. The top is ARE from back in the day. Also had to do the heater core. Luckily on the S10 you don't need to remove the dash. The Syclone only came in black except for 10 Red Marlboro edition ones made in 1991. They had a Targa top which was pretty cool. You have to remove the intercooler and the throttle body to get to the valve covers. Inner fenders come off to get to the plugs. The old exhaust valve seals were gone. GM never used high temp rubber on the exhaust valves. Fel-Pro now make some so I shouldn't ever have to redo this job.
  13. I agree. On the Syclone it is for cooling. It has a remote oil filter setup that feeds into a side tank on the radiator that is thermostat controlled. It also has a water cooled intercooler. The engineering that went into the Syclone is wild
  14. My Syclone has an oil cooler and trans cooler in the radiator!!
  15. So glad this build will get to live again!!
  16. Saw this build at Sema. Looks awesome. Congratulations. Well deserved.
  17. This is a pic with the Yakima rack fitted on the rail
  18. I think around $1,400. But that was at least 4 years ago. Their customer service is the best.
  19. It has worked just fine. No issues at all.
  20. I have a core shifters unit in my MJ. Works perfectly.
  21. That is always my fear when we drive these trucks. If we get hit it can be catastrophic. People are such idiots. By the look of it the frame is probably ok. I would be more concerned with the inner fender. Should be fixable. I am so sorry for you. That is such a cool truck.
  22. This is what you need
