Much cheaper to send it to TriStarr. They put a new rheostat in plus a float etc. All you do is add the pump. I used a Carter P90011. $45 from RockAuto

They only have XJ sender units despite what they might say on their website.

My bad corrected in original post

I previously confirmed with MTS that they do not. An option is to get a pre HO one and change the fuel sender in your cluster to a pre HO guage. The two senders read opposite. An alternative option is to send your unit to www.tristarrradiator.com who will do a superb refurb job on your existing sender unit. They did mine.

Great build. Deutch connectors are the best. So easy to work with. Getting the pins in and out is so easy and they seal really well. Used a lot of them on my build. The throw out bearing adjustment is a nightmare. The novak adjustable isn't that great an option either. Getting the clutch dialed in is fun. Be gentle with that Ax15 your are really on the ragged edge of its hp and torque rating. Won't take much to shred it!! -

An ohm meter on the sender unit is the easiest way to tell if they are HO or not -

Will not start, Fuel pump problem

Don't think the 87 had the ballast resistor but I might be wrong. If an 87 was fitted with one it was due to a noisy fuel pump TSB or recall. -

There are some GM steering columns that use the same knob. I think LMS truck might have them.

HO sender units read 0 ohms full to 105 empty. Renix 85 Full to 0 empty. So they work exactly opposite. Also all HO fuel sending units were the same I believe 52017559. Except the Diesel. When I did the LS and swapped the HO Instrument cluster so I could use a 120mph Speedometer I had to use a Pre 91 fuel gauge or it read wrong. -

So the interior is done. 2 gauges AF and Engine/Trans oil temp Headliner is also in Also got the wheel well liners in. Fitted pretty well. One of the last jobs to do is relocating the intake to behind the radiator. To do this I need to swap out the 2001 Corvette pump for a 2008. That has a much smaller pulley so it will give me the opportunity to drop the intake directly down. Where it is now there is no airflow and I am running IAT of around 180 consistently which is way too high. At the same time I will install the electric heater cut off valve. New pump Existing pump -
DKA Motorsports will be running their MJ. I am planning on being there. On my bucket list

91 eliminator had riveted wheels. My 91 Eliminator came that way. I think the 92 didn't, Just holes no rivets. -
Looking for a NOS passenger side tail light. Clear or black outline. Either would work.

Could be the throw out bearing. Does it go away if you push the clutch pedal down a bit, but not enough to engage the clutch?

Managed to get the carpet in today. That is not a fun job. Got the carpet from stock interiors. Fit was pretty poor. But I made it work. Why do they give you so much excess carpet!! Next on the list headliner. -

Dash is back in. All the dash harness is wrapped and secured. Sealed the Bulkhead connector and made sure the harness routed properly. Next up getting the interior lights fully working. Adding headliner, interior trim and carpet, and she still starts and runs!! -
Looks like NAXJA is back up and running. Not sure what happened. Upgrade maybe?
