So until very recently ive had to rely on the word of the PO who only knew what that PO told him about my truck, and that was that it has a 3 inch lift, now recently I met with another board member who had just lifted their MJ 3 inches and side by side my truck was very noticeably higher. so my first question is how can I measure to figure out how much lift I have and number two is the front end has those crappy brackets that hang way down(refer to pic) and I want those gone, what will I have to purchase to lift my front end without those? i was going to use some from an AV-8 but i (back then) wasnt sure how to get the 28vdc lights to work on my 5.9 zj.

I started ripping into my parts truck yesterday and for how many doors ive taken apart before have never came across this until yesterday. Image Not Found Image Not Found anyone else ever find one of these things? AND YES I KNOW THE DATE IS WRONG ON MY CAMERA :dunce:

no, speed does not affect it, thats why i figured it was just something loose somewhere.

It started almost a week ago, its like an intermittant tapping that i can feel under my console. It only happens when i the truck is moving, if I'm in park with it running and its still, then there is nothing, but if i shake back and fourth then it happens and of course it does it while I'm driving. i looked around under there but i didnt find anything loose. or i overlooked something painfully obvious. Well thats only because my factory rollbar would prevent anyone from seeing it anyway. Sorry, i couldent resist. are those lights inder the tailgate universal? or would we have to somehow find one that would just kinda fit?

i havent tried to adjust the pot yet, soon as i do i will report the findings :wall:

mine already idles around 750-800 but no matter what i do, the dang tach never break 2500 rmp's.

Yeah, thats the potentiometer. My advice, until you get it fine tuned don't reconnect the speedo, its a real PIA, plug in the inner white plug only. Start the truck, see where its at, and adjust as necessary. I pulled mine probably 10 times before I got the adjustment just right. Don't feel bad though, I learned the same exact way after installing my full guage cluster. :cheers: so what should the renix 4.0 be ideling at?

Yeah, i like the his and hers alot, but they are just a tad pricey for me so ill have to settle for the standard one.

H4 Halogen headlights and just a couple of extra 6 inch lights help me in the dark.I orderd the headlight housings from e-bay and put in some sylvania xtravision H4 bulbs and it made a HUGE difference. Image Not Found Erik :beerhead:
