  3. here are some random pics http://www.masracing.biz/catalog/i162.html
  4. Of course i will make it functional......
  5. Thanks, i was sweating friggin bullets right before i begain to cut, all i could think was if i screwed it up, how the heck was i gonna fix it? But it worked out perfect and I'm super happy about it, I'm goint to take the part of the roof that i removed and make an inside cover with it. It says 24 HOUR ROAD SERVICE and as for the history i havent got a clue, the guy i bought the truck from got it when a nearby buisness went under a while ago and he didnt know anything about jeeps in general, i can say that it has had some abuse. If you look at the pic of my roof before i cut it you can see where the holes were where they had a sign an amber light mounted and there are two holes in my hood where they probably had some type of hood ornament on there.
  6. Moved along a little bit today, i took the aftermarket sunroof out of my parts pig and put it in mine today here's the sunroof the headliners.............and a football measure twice? nope, had to do it three times before i was sure Its supposed to rain tomorrow so we'll see how i did, now all i have to do it reupholster the headliner and slap it in.
  7. I installed a sunroof today, pics will be in my project thread.
  8. You're a darned liar! That picture must have been taken in 1987, maybe 1988! :D Floors like that don't exist here in Ohio :(  X2 in Pennsylvania. i don't think a single part of my truck looks that clean.
  9. Finally cleaned my IAC and and throttle body, goooood bye high idle
  10. you'll need: aw4 floor shifter and transmission tunnel plate (the plate which mounts under the shifter) aw4 floor shifter cable aw4 floor shift transmission cable bracket aw4 floor shift transmission arm (this is what the cable connects to on the tranny) aw4 non-column shift steering column (you cannot remove the old one from the old column) aw4 floor shift safety cable (this goes from the floor shifter to the steering column) everything there is different from a column-shift setup. the swap will only take a couple hours...I just did it on my 87, but it was more difficult because everything was also upgraded to 1995 cherokee engine trans and wiring. So whats the differance between the steering column i have now with the ba-10 and the steering column for the aw4 on the floor? i didnt think i would have to chage that part. aside from the key retainer.
  11. My donor MJ is and aw4 on the column, and i want it to be on the floor. can i just get the parts for the shifter on the floor and set it up that way? i hate column shifters.
  12. Has anyone ever heard of this or maybe even tried it? http://www.driveev.com/jeepev/qa/index.php
  13. As far as the lowest goes, think Djag12 wins that one, i think shes down around 50k.
  14. How far are you from Harrys? we should meet there one day, I'm about 30 minutes away. and yes.HARRYS IS AWSOME! theres always a few MJ's there.
  15. i wish i could find gray interior that clean
  16. lol. why give ya fair warning? I was thinking, maybe I should be coming back with another comanche in tow Hum..........Do I really need to explain that one :hmm: And yea.......what's the spec's your looking for.......I know a few MJ's around here :brows: But FYI..........The MJ's are very rusty around here :( PM me and I'll give ya my # so if you do hit WNY, give me a call :D specs? i don't know. but I have a feeling that I need to take out a loan, and bring my car dolly with. realistically by some miracle I'm hoping to come home with at least 1 good longbed. this one doesnt look too bad for your 95 comanche http://allentown.craigslist.org/pts/1064242952.html
  17. lol. I could do that...if I had any. pffffft, nevermind then, just pass on through. nah I'm just kidding. if your going through northeast PA though ill give you my number if ya want. just in case.

  20. Hollywood Undead :ack:
  21. So according to that(provided i measured properly) i have 4.75 inches of lift in the front and only 2.3 in the rear? and for the heck of it i measured the distance between the wheel and the wheel well and its 1.25 inches in difference between the front and rear.
  22. I don't suppose you have a write up on that and some pics, it sounds pretty sweet.
  23. I do some moderate wheeling, no rock crawling or anything and i havent hit them on anything so far so ill probably keep them on there. as for more height i just want the front to match the back, so spacers?? BTW, is there anything you don't know Eagle?
  24. i guess that shows my ignorance :dunce: i think I'm just worried that they will catch on something, ill probably leave them after that info. guess now ill just try top make the height match the rear. thanks! just need to figure out how migh my lift is now.
