You could use the SWAG technic.... Scientific Wild @$$ Guess.

Hey I've ridden one of those. :D It was a blast.
-
I redrilled my trackbar bracket 3/4" over on my '95 XJ and had no problems. It also allowed me to have 7" of additional droop without binding. I welded a washer on the outside and moved the hole down about 1/8". It worked great and allowed me to run my adjustable trackbar with only one tread showing. I was not told to do this. I did it because my trackbar was limiting my droop.

It should be watched by anyone who uses one. :brows:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JBnxSqpuCM

That is a sweet ride. I like what he's done with it. There is one thing that I think would be the icing on the cake...park it in my garage. :D :D

6 quarts with a new filter 10w-30

Yes use regular oil for break in so the parts wear in correctly. The 4.0 that is going into my MJ has 3000 miles on it and has had 2 oil changes with regular oil. I will be using Mobil One 0w-40 oil in it from here on out. I also use Mopar synthetic 75w-140 gear lube in my axles and Amsoil synthetic ATF in my transfer case. For my AW-4 I run Motorcraft Mercon/DexronIII ATF. I use Fleetguard green coolant mixed with distilled water and add some Water Wetter to it.
-
One of the other things is synthetic oil has a smaller molecular composition when compared to non-synthetic oil. Basicly it can leak out of a smaller hole. R-134 also has a smaller molecular composition when compared to R-12. R-134 can leak threw R-12 hoses and seals. This is why my 89 will have a complete '95 R-134 AC system. The same thing applys to the extended life Mopar coolant. It will find leaks that were never there before. I converted a car and had leaks all over. The heater valve, thermostat housing, around the hose connections and at the seals on the plastic radiator tanks were it attaches to the aluminum core all started to leak within 3 days. I replaced the radiator, eliminated the heater control valve, put new hoses on and replaced the thermostat gasket. I was never able to stop the thermost from seeping no matter what I did... I'll stick with my green coolant and distilled water on my MJ for sure.

Yes it is, I was picking up the parts cab I'm using to extend mine so 2dr XJ doors fit.

These my only pic of me on my computer. My name is Tim and I'm another member from Waterford WI. Here I am playing with the gas axe and loading my parts cab. Thats my DD in the background. 3" of lift and 33's...

They show being able to get SWB and LWB ones. Freight sure isn't cheap thou.... Aww......click on the "read the reviews" Guy had no problem fitting that panel on a 1980 Buick :teehee: :hmm: I think your right, better call first  That was the same review a Chevy pickup got too.... It's probably the same review they all have.

It's not that hard. The best way is to find a cheap Cherokee to use for parts.
-
Thats what one looks like... I have seen them in the accsesory catalog and the parts catalog with all the required parts before but never saw a pic of one. Your pic shows the factory filler panels and everything. I'll have to check my e-fiche and see if it still shows it.

Thanks, I thought there might be couple of mistakes on it. I edited my 1st post.

Here a link to the bumper mount. It could also be used as the outside part of a steering gear support. Just don't forget the angle that mounts on the other side of the front 2 bumper mounting bolts and to the core support. See the post below for the updated link I would double check it by making a poster board template. That template would then work great for setting one up. It would be nice to wrap it under the frame to also support where the frontskid and swaybar mounts are.

I wonder if it is the factory one... Image Not Found The truck is for sale on Craigslist.

Here an update I've started stripping the parts I need off of my '95 XJ. I helped Pat cut the frontend and the box off of an MJ this weekend. We just hauled the MJ parts cab over from Pat's place and unloaded it. :D Now my back is done for the day... Here is a picture of it in my mom's garage. She's letting me store it there until the back is cut off. Here's a pic Image Not Found Here a pic of my rusty DD. This is it's good side by far. It has 3" of lift with my 33" tires on it because my 31's were worn to much to work in the snow. As long as the sway bar is hooked up they don't rub and ony rub lightly when unhooked. The 33's work great in the snow and on plowed snow piles. :brows: Image Not Found

It looks good. Have you disconnected thje swaybar and flexed it out yet? A SB Mopar 340 with injection would be sweet. Find a '94-'95 Ram to donate the harness, injection parts, distributer and computer. I think Mopar Peformance makes an intake and a CPS set-up. It would be a sweet engine. :D You could alway put a stroker crank in it and make it about 408ci. :brows: The 340 is worth grabbing for the HD connecting rods with the floating piston pin. If it is a 72 or older it will have a forged crank and 2.02 valves intake and 1.60 exhaust valves in the heads. The 73-74 motor are still a good find. I would love to swap a built 340 into my MJ. I could even deal with a carb. It would have to be a quadrajet thou since they seem to run about the best at angles. Man do I miss my '71 340 pistol grip 4 speed 'Cuda....

Welcome aboard  Do you want to convert it to 4wd? If so you came to the right place. :Canadaflag:

Buy only what you must from Snap-on and get Craftsman for the rest. I was a tech for 15 years and this is what I did. If you try you might find a good deal on old used Snap-on boxes. I can trade mine in for 3 times what I paid for it. They are well built and are deeper with better drawer arrangements. Some of the new Craftsman boxes are pretty nice too.

lol...I already have a nice black one coming here next sunday... but I could use another for a different proejct if it doesn't sell :D If you would quit buying all the swb MJ's within 100 miles I might be able to sell it... Now just find me a nice SWB builder in a few months for a V-8 swap as a toy. :D thought the 89 was your last... Last 4x4...
