The supercharged SRT-8 with a few other mods is what I would do. 650whp and all-wheel drive go hand in hand with each other. Spinning isn't winning.....

The turbo is a joke, it would take way too long to spool.:nuts: I can tell you a stock SRT-8 Jeep is an awsome street Jeep. I impressed the hell out of me when I drove it at the SRT Experence. We autocrossed it and I was able to beat the instructers time and it was a clean run(no cones). I was amazed at the performance and handling it has. 150mph on the track was nothing for it, there was more left. :D That E-Bay one is a laugh.... :rotf: Give me a stock one and $3000.00 and it would drive circles around that "THING" anytime, anyplace!!!! :brows: If I could afford an SRT-8 Jeep my wife would be driving it. At Road America the only SRT that was more impressive was the SRT-10 Viper... :bowdown: SRT= Street, Road, Track. It isn't meant to go offroad. It does what it was meant to do very well. ;)

Was looking at those the other day. Can't remember where but they had them for $189 + shipping. Was wondering if they would discount them a little if they left off the braces. Let us know how they do and any install problems. :cheers: I would trim the stock braces and the RC supports so both fit together them weld them together and on to the frame. :brows:

I know a couple of people who have shortened the trans output shaft without a problem.

Going to strip down the MJ first. I'll give you a call.

You'll probably get both track bars, the RE and the RC.

It should be 3/4" just like the RE trackbar.

On Pirate I go by TJP... I'm pretty sure you have seen how out of hand I get at times... I wrote the sticky Cherokee Forum Mission Statement. I have also flamed about 30 posts this month... It's kinda fun. :brows: If I don't flame people they don't follow that forums goal. It's the JU type of questions that get the worst. I can be a real @$$ at times, but can also answer 90% of the posts if I want to. I go there for the advanced tech. It's the only place I can find it.

If you used paypal there is a time limit on filing a complant. Make sure you don't miss it. After 3 trys with no response, I would put up a post calling him out to see what the problem is(without details) and if anyone has heard from him. If you still don't get anywhere call him out and let the world know as much about him as possible. I have seen a repeat offender get called out on Pirate and members came up with his address, his parents address and a bunch of other public info. The seller contacted his parents and they said he is off at college, which he already knew. He explained what he was doing. They paid back the money he had ripped the people off for and then cut him off, until he made it right with his parents. They also had him post that he was an @$$ for ripping people off and apologize for what he had done. He wound up missing a semester at college and living on his own for 8 months(because his parent didn't let him move back home) before he was able to make things right. After he made things right with his parents he was able to go back to school, because his parents helped with tuition, but he is on his own for all of his other needs. I'm pretty sure he learned from his mistakes....

Pirate has the best tech around. I play there and get tech. I post here and feel it's a great site with great members. The tech level just doesn't reach the same level as pirate but who cares... You are real people over here and are great to be around. Naxja is ok if you've been there a long time, but even then there are idiots who get in pissing matches about things they are totally wrong. I have fun on Pirate and it is my main site to get tech from. The tech level is way higher, but you need a thick shin. The tech level I'm looking for is hard to find. Sometimes I might post sort of harsh, it's the darkside slipping out. If I offend anyone I'm not trying to I just slips out at times. Just tell me straight up that I was out of line and I will edit it.

I'm looking into buying a bender for my MJ project. I'm wondering if anyone else wants a cage bent up. I would make you a good deal. I can also bend bumpers rock rails and more. I don't want t buy a bender just for my project. I would like to earn some cash with it to make it worth while and help pay for it. Post up if you are interested.

This is true, they are stunning. :bowdown: I have been studing prerunner desert trucks and Jeep Speed builds as part of planning my MJ. :typing: I think I'm going to buy a tubing bender so I can tub the the back of the frame. :chillin: I'm willing to bet I can make some side cash bending tube too. ;) I'm probably going to replace the front of the frame with rectangle tube and tie every thing together with the rollcage. :yes: I need to check into buying some dimple dies also. 8) I should be able to get about 18" of front travel and 24"-28" of rear travel. :eek: I might have to do it in stages thou. :roll: Just seeing those truck make me want to get even crazy with my build. :brows: A sweet prerunner would rock.

It's nowhere near done. When it is done your MJ will be a toothpick and his will be a redwood. :D Here is a quote. "Just another side project.
