  1. Intersting change of events. I just discovered replacement brackets. Didnt know anyone made these. So suggestions on best bracket? Weld on vs bolt on? Sounds like this would be a more correct repair than the other options.
  2. Ok no problem. Glad someone could help.
  3. Is there sufficient fuel in the tank? I know it sounds like a dumb question, but ive been down that road before.
  4. Coins for the top 2 or 3 ranks and wheels for the rest? I don't know just throwing out ideas.
  5. Drilling the hole larger won't bother me. I can capture a nut to fit behind. Guess I was just looking for input on which is best or easiest.
  6. Steelies We could get into zj rims too if need be. They fit mjs.....
  7. My lower trackbar bolt has wallowed the hole in the axle mount. Seems the common fixes are drill it to a larger hole and install a larger bolt. Or weld on a hardened washer to serve as a new hole. What would be the better option? I have a core4x4 trackbar and I checked with them, drilling the bushing is ok with them.
  8. What temp is the thermostat?
  9. It only changes the distance between the spring and frame on one end. The other end of the spring stays mounted in the same place. Therefore you only gain half the height. Your lengthening one side of a triangle. Not both sides of a rectangle.
  10. Condition of the leaves shouldnt effect shackle lift gains. The springs will be the same worn out springs before and after a shackle change. Easiest way to see what a shackle lift will net is to measure the length of the new shackle. Measure the old shackle. Then subtract the old from new. Divide the results by 2. This will give you real world numbers for a shackle lift. Example: numbers are made up for example Factory shackle- 4"eye to eye New shackle- 6.5" eye to eye 6.5" - 4" = 2.5" 2.5" รท 2 = 1.25" So a 2.5" length difference in shackles will lift the truck 1.25" Hope this helps someone.
  11. They look right according to the picture. Does the Amazon description say what they are supposed to fit?
  12. This will make a big difference if missing.
  13. Heat. pb blaster. Bfh. Not sure what else to suggest. I have always used the power steering method on the really stuck ones. If your brave you could try bolting the wheel back on and setting the weight of the truck back on it. Not sure it will work but the weight of the truck might be enough to pop it loose.
  14. I say at least 7k. Its got ac
  15. I didn't mean it to be cause of the problem. Just possible contributing factor? Kinda like a death wobble senario. No one bad element but a combination of slightly sub par products.
  16. I am not a chemist but this could be part of the problem. I am pretty sure that the 50/50 antifreeze mix not only has a lower freezing point than straight water but also a higher boiling point. I believe it will effect cooling just as it does freezing. Better to return as much of the system to its design parameters before trying to chase a rabbit.
  17. There just simply isn't enough detail and information provided to establish a value yet. If you can provide some pictures of the truck a ballpark value could be determined. Just like other have stated before.
  18. Your not cool if you don't have at least 6 fans.....
  19. Sounds like bad o rings on the injectors. One might have gotten torn during removal/reinstall.....
  20. Agreed, only one thing left to do.....
  21. The cruise and air conditioning are both fixable systems. If you can handle the body work you can repair a couple of luxury systems. Looks great btw. I personally am not sold on bedlinered trucks but that is because most of the ones I see are solid colors with no details. I think your stripe along the bottom with the matched logo looks great.
  22. I think the transfer case is the same. I belive a RHD had the same center console as the LHD so I don't think the linkage or tcase is special. Disclaimer: Definately not an expert on the subject just going by what I have seen in the junkyards.
  23. I just put the full walker kit on my truck. I must say I am really impressed with the improved driveability. I have a 92 parts truck that might have the hanger on it yet. Ill look today and see what I have. Btw your only one post away from the classifieds now.
