Yep, ill check power 2 the pump today.....If it comes to a bad pump atleast i have 2 Others on the shelf waiting ;)

Alright, here we go again, this time with a new Truck... 4.0/AX15/4x4 My 90 Eliminator had stalled out at idle and will not restart, the fuel pump is not priming as the key is turned to the "on" posistion. I had the truck running about and hour prior to this, just a sitting idle while I seafoamed through the TB and some Vac. Lines, it did its usual smoking and was running great. I was working on bleeding my brakes (via proper procedure) and fired it up 1 other time to check the pedal. I shut it off and now it will not restart.... :dunno: It has spark, besides the vac lines from the airbox all others are in tact. As mentioned I'm not getting any activity outta the fuel pump, i bypassed the Ballast resistor to no avail as well. Is it possible the Seafoam job gummed up the 02 sensor bad enough that it won't run? I will check for power at the fuel pump tomorrow. I'm lettin it sit overnight and see if it manages to fire up tomorrow as well.....Thanks for any Help! :roll: :oops:

I know i saw a diagram a day or so ago of a cut away of the front Prop Valve. I'm gonna be digging into replacing the rear lines tonight and tomorrow. If i was to elmiminate this thing is it the front port that needs capped off, or the very bottom port? Can anyone show me a diagram of what lines i excatly need to tie together to elmiminate that rear Prop. Valve? Thanks for the help! :thumbsup:

Alrighty well my 90 Eliminator had sprung a pinhole leak in the 1 rear brake line. In my attempt at removing the bad line i managed to have to remove the entire plumbing in and around the rear prop. valve. alright well replacing all the rear lines around the valve is easy, however the fitting from the main rear line snapped off, and now has left me with a line that needs a new fitting and flared. The question now is, with the strange "ribbed" design of the rear lines is it even possible to flare those? Or am i stuck running a new line from the Mst. Cyl. to the rear of the truck? Also since I'm going that far is it 2 my advantage to just do away with the Prop. valve, this truck will not be doing any "heavy haul" chores in its future and all the rear lines are currently outta it anyway..... :wrench: Thanks for any help! :cheers:

Sorry for the stupid question but just making sure you have the dimmer switch turned to its brightest setting......i drove around for almost a year with dim gauges just thinking thats how they were untill i was shown you can acctually brighten em up. :roll: ;)

It sounds as if this truck is loosly based off of that description...

I'm always reading the back of oils and additives at work (Advance also), sometimes it drives me crazy :wall:

I have a set of 2 YJ cowl vents thatll be going on mine in the near future ;)

This oil is still SL rated. Been using this since i learned about all the ratings and the Goverment slowly killing our enginies off by mandating crappy oils. The current rating is now SN All these new claims about new oils being fine in older vehicles is crap. Just like Ethanol blended fuels, its all the goverments way to kill off the old "dirty" equipment and force us into new age garbage and sadly soon there will be nothing we can do about it

You can definently learn alot more than they can shove into your brain just buy being in a shop atmosphere and talking to Mechanics that had been wrenching for years...

I know for a fact the XJ measurements are 17.5" front and 17" Rear, I'm pretty certian i read at some point that MJs are 19" rear. wether it was a 2wd or 4wd measurement is beyond me.... :dunno:

Stock from center of the wheel to the bottom of the OEM flare is 17.5" front and 19" rear.
