  1. Sorry for digging this grave up, but I have a similar problem with my 90 Eliminator... I didnt recieve a door key with the truck and would like to either get a new key made for the doors (easyest id think) or swap out atleast the drivers lock cylinder. How would i go about getting a key made for the current lock cylinders? Would i have to remove 1 from the door? Also how in the heck are they even removable from the doors, the last time i looked you could bearly get your hand up to them from inside the door panel... Thanks for any help :wrench:

  14. Alright, my other half is still driving a 99 Ford Ranger and the 4wd system began acting up last night. Ive read up on how they have a crappy vaccum accuated hub design and ways to bypass it, thats likely the problem but Id like 2 get this fixed up for her and hopefully get her into an XJ soon. lol :wrench: I'm just wondering if anyone else has any experiences with these Ford contraptions. Its a 99 Ranger 3.0L/Auto Thanks!

  19. Check the vaccum line from the throttle body to the MAP sensor, if that line becomes disconnected itll cause some crappy running issues as well. Also check the engine bay for any misc vaccum leaks. Good luck :wrench:
  20. Were any bulbs replaced recently? A single filiment bulb in any spot where a dual filiment is needed can cause this issue... Otherwise check all the grounds and check the fuse panel for Brake fluid corrosion if its a manual transmission.
