Interesting find on Amazon

Could one of these be used to replace the Renix relay center by the battery? I'm planning to use one of these for all my lights wiring, but also thought maybe it could make the Renix engine bay look a little cleaner... -
Usually around my house gets worse than it was this time. The worst thing to happen to me from this is the mandatory "1 pallet of every type of bulk water" that Publix has during emergencies. My new stores back room was full enough before I had to order those 5 pallets glad everyone so far is safe and unscathed. I've seen videos and pictures and it's crazy how destroyed everything is down there. I can't imagine that just happening to my home.

I believe he needs to know the size of the nut for the U-bolts. Mine are 13/16", and I believe my factory ones that I took off were the same. Not sure on the thread pitch or anything.

I ran into the same issue with finding 2wd rotor/bearing combos. So I opted to swap to the newer style that came on Cherokees (hub/rotor separate.) The way that I did it was I just swapped in a 98 XJ front 2wd axle, BUT I'm almost positive you could just swap Caliper, Hub, Knuckle, and rotor onto your 2wd axle.

We're more worried about a home as well. But we still are doing a nice wedding. It's going to be inexpensive though. The venue is free, catering will be done by the older ladies at our church (taco bar!!!), Chairs are free from the church, her dress will be 200$, my suit about the same. Her mother is making the fancy invitations... All in all our limit is 5k for the wedding and honeymoon. I have a friend whose dress alone cost 7500... The venue was 10k for a 75 person shindig...

Congrats to you too!!! The engagement part is definitely more important than the work part... The work part is definitely a plus, though.

Thanks for all the support guys!!! Super excited to see how next year goes. I've been on the phone with distant family all day today... Seems my mother called everyone once she heard and gave my personal number to them as well, gotta love it!

Since I consider you all friends, I like to keep you up to date on big things happening. As most of you know, I got promoted to being an assistant grocery manager with Publix about 9 months ago. Well, that turned into me being voted the best assistant in my district and my district manager has become obsessed with me. Choosing me to speak at a 500 person conference on being young and successful with Publix and also chose me and another assistant to do a short interview with Southern Living magazine. Fast forward to 3 months ago I got transferred to another store to run the department as an assistant due to a lack of good managers. When I got to the store I managed to clean up the entirety of the grocery department and impressed the district manager greatly. Now, I'm on vacation and tested for Grocery manager a month ago. I got a text from my district manager saying that I may not come back to work as an assistant and will most likely start at a new store when I get back. I'm very excited about it especially since it will make me the youngest department manager in at least my district, possibly the whole region (I turn 22 in January next year). Next awesome thing to happen is that I proposed last night to my girlfriend. If only I could type our full story but the gist of it is her and I have been inseparable friends for about 6 years and finally started dating after about 2 years of fighting with each other on the subject, we officially got together 14 months ago and have been going strong since. I don't know about you guys, but this has been a good year. And there's still plenty of time left!!!

Comprehensive is all I had when I hit a deer and got 1800$ from Geico. A deer is an "act of God" which Comprehensive covers according to the adjuster that handled my claim. Collision is for anything that has wheels according to him.

I haven't had just liability ever since the time my brother hit a deer in his Sentra and had to pay 900$ just to get it back on the road... Thankfully with Geico I can afford full coverage on my Sentra and Jeep. Being only 21 and not married, my insurance rates are ridiculous. I preach to my whole family that they need at least Comprehensive

When I hit a deer in my MJ and ruined the front Geico totalled it but let me keep it without a salvage title... They also paid me 1800$ This was 3 weeks after I bought it for 1000$. I love geico.

Best Subwoofer Ground Location

Using a multimeter to test the voltage at the amp will tell you if it's your ground or not. -
Death wobble is trying to come back
Knucklehead97 replied to Knucklehead97's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Drove it 70 up the interstate today with no odd jiggles. I found a Hunter balancer close to me so I will be having my tires balanced by them either way, if things still feel odd after that then I'll look into suspension parts again. Going to get XJ bucket seats and a 6x12 trailer next week so I need it running straight down the road for the 50 mile trek! -

6* was the best I was able to get if I remember correctly. I'll reset the toe in when I replace TRE's because I feel after I check them a couple will need replacing. Something I just remembered is if I turned left, sometimes it would try to set off a full on wobble. -
KJ disc brakes off Rockauto
Knucklehead97 replied to Knucklehead97's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
That's great to hear! I'm definitely getting them once I finish a couple projects I'm in the middle of. Eventually going to do the swap on the front as well because there's an XJ kit for 220$ -
KJ disc brakes off Rockauto
Knucklehead97 replied to Knucklehead97's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I thought about that but I added up the cost of just base level rotors, pads, and calipers and it would come out at 185$ after I send back the cores. This "upgraded" version is actually the same price basically after the rebate. -

Knucklehead97 replied to Knucklehead97's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
My caster is set to 6* positive on both sides and toe in is 1/8". These adjustments were made before I got the new tires on. They were set after I replaced my suspension. I drove about 40 miles on my old tires with the new suspension and have only driven about 500 miles on the "new" tires. I installed the new tires about a week after I finished the suspension and ect. Nothing has changed recently. I haven't touched the suspension since then. I wish I could find a Hunter balancer around here but no tire shop has even heard of one. -
I know I've been posting a lot of topics recently, but I keep finding little projects to do on the Jeep among other things. I'm starting to work on the 29-spline 8.25 out of a 98 Cherokee. I bought new drum brakes for it but have decided to give them to a friend that needs new rear brakes in her XJ and I'm going to do a KJ disc brake set up. Upon searching for new brakes for a KJ, I found this on Rockauto. Is it just me or is that a really good price for new and upgraded calipers, rotors, and pads? After that I would just need to stop by the PAP up the road from my work and grab backing plates, studs, and parking brake hardware, right? The main interest in this is the fact there's no core charge...

Death wobble is trying to come back
Knucklehead97 replied to Knucklehead97's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
By drove with it I mean I kept under 40-45 for most of the distance but often got too close to that speed and had to slow down to a near stop to keep it from shaking me off the road. -

Wouldn't that have a weird jiggle at all speeds? The Jeep is actually INSANELY smooth of a ride since I got it lifted. And it go's straight without trying to pull to either side.
