I have flown and drove my prizes home many times. When I bought my Mega Cab Long Bed we flew to Salt Lake City, stayed the night and drove back the next day 800 miles. It cost us a grand total of $500. It would have been cheaper had it only been me. But, I drug my poor wife along for the ride. She enjoyed every minute of it. If you are truly a "car guy" than doing a trip like that is so fulfilling you would not understand until you have done it. A plane ticket is cheap nowadays. You can fly and drive for a lot less than you can ship a vehicle. It is worth every penny to do it.

I took it at the Shelby place in Vegas Friday. They sold all his Dodge Shelbys and only have pics of the them on the wall. Very sad way to remember his legacy.

I'm still here. Still have Onyx but sold Betty to our resident fab guy, Krustyballer.

Our 48 Ford has leafs and a solid beam up front. It has death wobble. My CJ5 had leafs and had DW. My old Chevy 2500 had leafs and DW. The 48s is so bad it was driven once before I decided that swapping in a new suspension was easier than dealing with the DW.

Now that I am retired from the Marine Corps and have a little bit of extra cash and time I decided to get back after the F1. We picked up the donor last week. A 99, Awd, 5.0L Explorer. I am doing a body swap onto the Explorer chassis. I got the donor for $500. It has 100k on it. The one issue is the fuel pump is dead. I decided replace it the easiest way I could think of. Yep, cut the floor open. I am not using the body so why not?

And just like that the Ford Cherokee was born! I got a smoking deal on some 2004 Explorer wheels with tires. A bit of grinding to open up the hub bore and they were on.

This is probably the dirtiest, most disgusting Jeep I have ever bought. It will take some work to get it right but it will be a stunner when it's done.

The whole carpet looked as bad as the right side. That is the during phase of the cleaning process. It still needs one more good cleaning tomorrow. This is the back seat.
