several things wrong... -missing several lug nuts -t-case lever in 2wd say part time on dash -left front tire has bald spots on outside of tread -right rear appears to be sagging significantly -missing passenger window and lock switches -missing door ajar switch on all doors -cd player mount is upside down

that guy is almost as full of :bs: as the clunkers program is. some dealers may try to do that, but the person who traded in on the car has to sign off on the program, so only dishonest dealers who don't mind committing fraud would do so.

so what's that coating called?

this does not apply to citizens looking up if their cars qualify for this damn program, it only applies to dealers who are filling out the forms. below is the message that comes up, but only if you're logging into the dealer section. i still don't like it, but people in general are immune to that unless they attempt to log into the dealer section. before that, you have to register as a dealer. so if you're not registered as a dealer and you don't log into the dealer section, you're fine.

i know you weren't considering that clunker program, but technically your truck was worth $4500 a couple days ago, but now isn't because it's not driveable. probably too late to try that angle, and then there's the issue of if you'd get it back or not. hope it works out for you and that you and your wife don't have any long term health issues from it.

perhaps this will have a good side to it...it might be enough to get more people to vote for good change come the next round. there's a growing list of things to be mad about.

it works out to something like $27 per tax payer, not sure when they're going to hit us for it though.

there's a jeep dealer around here with the same idea for a display, but it's a fairly decent looking zj :fs1: given what we know about these 4.0's, i wonder if any would run with some fresh oil? morbid curiosity caused me to drive around last night looking at some 'clunkers lots', i saw 7 xj's, 3 zj's, and one kj? i didn't think they had lower enough mpg to qualify, but it was marked with the x of death. :wall: most of the xj's had well less than 200k miles, one had 114k miles on an HO.

i have all of those except the valance, shipping from 49503 business address. the t-stat housing shipped (from an 87-90) would be $15 shipped, i'd have to check on the shipping of the bumper. it's black with a small amount of over spray from a previous owner's camo job, but not very much, and it also has fog light mounts on it.

mostly just that you have to pull the dash to get to the heater core and evaporator. i'm not sure if a 92 and an 89 would have the same compressor or not, so the brackets may be different. i've only dealt with up through 1990 so far.

i've sold a couple, seen some others...i'd say $200-300.
