  1. What's up guys I'm in the process of accumulating parts for the single axle shaft upgrade to my cad dana 30... I got the bigger u-joint axle shafts through a trade, just bought a new solid diff cover... I know I need the new inner seal part number to fit the new shaft does any one have it? Also where can I get a block off plate besides going to rustys offroad website....
  2. Well I finally ordered a dana 30 solid diff cover...does anyone know where I can get a block off plate for the cad dana 30 besides rustys? I know it's $18 on their site but including shipping it ran up to $48
  3. Appreciate it! I've been longing the idea to finally paint the truck and I finally got some cash and got it done...even after a few days it was ready! I'm so excited!!!!!
  4. Yeah man I can't get enough of it...I like getting the truck dirty and showing off...then wash it one day and the following weekend getting it dirty again.....
  5. Sounds like a o2 sensor... What temp thermostat do you have? Is the truck heating up in time within these 5 min?
  6. Update Well guys this is the last time you'll see my truck in the primer grey...I just got quoted to paint my truck and she's going to get dropped off to the shop tomorrow morning and "they said it should be ready in a week" we all know how that goes.... Keep those fingers crossed!!!! Thanks
  7. True.... Thanks anyways man...I guess I'll just order it and see what happens
  8. Sweet...what size threading did you get? I bought a shift knob for mine and it's already wearing out...I've always looked at those but never knew the correct thread size....
  9. So jealous dude! I wish I could have a topper...I would probably have it in the yard but heck when I need it I could use it for camping purposes, storage, or whatever
  10. Your truck is beast! That cage is sick I've seen some of your YouTube vids
  11. You don't have to jack the truck that far up to get the mounts in...just enough that the thread come out of the holes...I did both motor mounts in 45 min my first time no help.....
  12. I ran with the brown dog motor mounts for a week because I couldn't stand the vibration through the cab so I just went with the cheap $10 motor mounts.... Brown dog mm-They are stout and throttle response with them was awesome because it felt sturdy but the vibes sucked!!!! I have the 2.5 and thought if I was in the trail and my motor mount broke the $10 one would be easier to accommodate than the pricey ones I know your asking more of the quality brand...hopes this helps
  13. Well I know the short bed hitches mount up to the sides of the frame I've sold 2 so far but I've never seen a long bed one but when I looked at the at the hitch I knew it didn't look right
  14. http://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/ptd/4200293986.html It looks to be a long bed hitch
  15. Update What's up guys just to end this thread I ended up balancing the front tires at another shop and no more shimmy...but I do need an alignment though but that's when money allows itself
  16. Eagle I've experience a bit of death wobble with this truck already...it happens from time to time where the shimmy turns to a huge shake that all I can do is brake instead of accerlarate...but when the shimmy is small I accerlarate to get rid of it...I will try to do the tire balance at another shop to see if that helps 87warrior I will check my track bar bushing and bolt and also my control arm bushings for any looseness
  17. What's up guys I've been having this lingering shimmy turning into death wobble within the speeds of 35-45mph but if I accelerate the wobble goes away...at first I thought it was tire balance with turbine wheels at the time and it still didn't fix the problem...I just recently changed to steel wheels and it still the same problem...with in the last few months I've changed ALL my tie rod ends and the beginning of last year changed all 4 ball joints, both hub bearings, brakes, calipers, the only thing I couldn't change at the time were the axle shaft u-joints... Just this past weekend I took off my front driveshaft to see if the shaft was the cause of the problem and no luck.... any other causes that can lead to this?
  18. Sweet! Great progress...can't wait to get my front end lift going...I'll eventually get longarms as the funds permit but I got some short arms for a steal....good luck can't wait for more progress and your going fast!!!!
  19. Your truck has come a long way!!!! Looks awesome keep it up!!!
