What's up fellas So I decided to drive the comanche today and it has been driving flawlessly which to tell you the truth SCARES ME...has all the power at acceleration, no skipping of a beat, I mean I haven't felt my truck run like this a few time up until I get to the point of a backfire/shuts off/shuts on by itself in a split second....no real way to control this....not even to pull to the side or rejump it...just on like nothing happened after the shut off and backfire.... Do I really need to know for that my truck in order to perfect is to actually not run right? Everything is new, except cat haven't replaced(removed) yet, all my grounds are tight and new ones added in every aspect known, manifold bolts tight, wires not frayed or cut, cps new, plugs and wires, rotor , cap, map sensor... Any clues?

I try to take pics with out my tag but since I don't how to photo shop I just left it... Peej- think about it like this...."think like a thief" I understand where some guys block the tags to prevent from this.... After spending thousands on an mj.. I really love the jeep world compared to the Honda world because Jeepers try to help Jeepers but Hondas don't help Hondas and follow you to steal parts....

That Dakota has an ax15... You can grab the bellhousing and all the nessacery stuff for an ax15 swap to your 4cyl.... The nv3550 came in the v8 Dakotas -
It's not 27spline?....did you pull it from a 4cyl or 6 cyl?

88Whitemanche's 98 Cherokee Build
88whitemanche replied to 88whitemanche's topic in Member Projects: Other Cool Stuff
What's up fellas...so sunday I made a trade with my 33s for some BFG all terrain 35s....the cherokee is looking beast!!! Unfortunately it only last 2days.... I had forgotten that I had put the cherokee in craigslist a while back and I put to trade for either a comanche i6 5 speed 4x4 or a 2 door cherokee i6 5 speed 4x4.... A guy texts me and asked if I still had it... I had mentioned to him that I wanted to keep it because of dd duties then he sends me pics of his 2 door 5 speed 4x4 i6.... I took the trade without hesitation.... Enough talk and pics..... Here's the 4 door with 35s.... Here's the 2 door...it has a 3" lift and 31s.... Needs a few things here and there but I say it was a sweet trade.... And it has a safari snorkel...not a big fan of snorkels because it tempts me to deep sea dive lol But I'll see if I keep it or not.... -
Well there's alot of rigs that can inspire everyone actually...from stock rigs to trail rigs.... I've learned that just by looking into the build threads that there's always someone doing something "just that little bit different from everyone else".... Not to diminish from the ones mentioned above... But there's mnkyboy, kabowabo, 87warrior, ronbo, Jeep driver, dirtetr717, jbain, comanche county, reson46, neohic.... This is just to name a few because I know I missed out on a lot of names...

I say flip it and get a hp 30 and regear....
-
No it's not Bedliner.... The cherokee from the jy seemed like the PO paid to get the whole truck matte black...looked different....

So I've been helping my boy do his lift on his comanche...I must say it's looking real good...and also saw a comanche creeping in the bushes... Well the pic doesn't show in the bushes but from the main road I happen to look over and saw red lettering jeep and had to turn around to take a pic..

might be doing another engine swap
88whitemanche replied to redwolf624's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I'm pretty sure he did... Red wolf just reread every thread you started about an engine swap and you'll figure it out... Although I haven't chimed in any of them but they have plenty of info you need.... -

Not much to it...just remove the radiator support and it's all mostly plug and play.... -
Speedometer Cable Link
88whitemanche replied to 88mjblue's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The 96" cable worked for mine and I think it was a bit too long for my ax5 4wd comanche...but better longer than shorter... -
