Eagle was right. It was a disk partition issue. Tried the partition utility several different ways. Problem was that part of the computer recognized the partition as being 480+ GB, but some areas saw the old 40 GB. So when I tried to use the partition utility, it thought it was already the 480 GB part and couldn't enlarge it any more. So I just reformatted the drive and all is good now. Too bad I paid an extra $20 for the USB hard drive chassis and software over the price of the HDD. Oh well. Thanks for all your responses guys.

Yes, the HD that was cloned was the original 40

I forget how to enter the BIOS. What is wierd is that in some places it shows 500GB, and others (like under 'My Computer" and drive 'c' properties), shows 40GB

I installed a 500 GB hard drive on my kids computer, but it still thinks it has a 40 GB drive. I did use cloning software that came with it. Any idea how to get it to realize it has 500GB? It is a Dell Optiplex 620 running XP home.Thanks

any update on this? check the EGR valve. if it is sticking open or bleeding past the seat it will cause a low/ rough idle and possibly stalling. especially since you felt some stumbling going down the hwy. did you use correct tune up parts (ie, not platinum plugs)?

looking for a cat con for my 87 2.5. just got the new header pipe and want one to bolt to the flange. mine was missing when I got the truck and PO just hacked off the flange to shove a pipe on it. doesn't even have to have guts. would prefer a working one, but not really neccessary at this time. also need the cat con hanger. Thanks

Well, sunday I changed the oil and found a hole in the front pipe. So ordered one of those. Will do a full exhaust and fix broken manifold studs at the same time. Always something!

I went through something similar a few years ago. Had some neighbors who had a large above ground pool, kids grown and gone. Kept saying how they didn;t want it anymore. Told them I would take it down for the pool and the deck. After taking it down realized it was in pretty bad shape so I scrapped it, but was abe to use alot of the deck to make a fort for my kids. Bought a new pool and built a new deck. Neighbor comes over and says his wife thinks we owe them $300 for the pool. Told him I was sorry that he felt that way, and please get out of my yard. Never spoke to them again. That is why I mostlt keep to myself. Most people are a=holes. Tell 'em to either piss off, or tell them they can come and get the mulch, but only by the wheel barrel full. No way would I let them drive on my property.

Well, dry cleaning fluid (kinda negates the term "dry" cleaning,eh) is basically the same as traditional brake parts cleaner.

I have known, worked with and been around a large number of LEO's. Especially over the net being involved with some gun websites. MOST are good people. Some are a-holes. But I think that is a pretty small percentage. Just think about what their average days interaction with the general public entails. I think very few of us could do it. My hat is off to MOST LE people.

I used to experience road rage. It has clamed down a great deal since having kids. But I still have a quick finger :D . What really calmed me down was getting my pistol permit. Now I realize that ANYONE could be packing. I KNOW that I am.

What was the range on that torque wrench? Was 250 the max setting?

Hey guys. I'm looking for a EASY to use music file managemement program for my computer. Need one to load music to my phone SD card using my existing CD's. Have used iTunes for my iPod and I think it sucks. Any recommendations? And remember, EASY to use is the key phrase here. :D . Running XP BTW.

what size tires are those? I finally got my LT245/75/16 MT/R's on my truck and trying to decide if the 3" lift I have to install will look silly with those size tires.

Even if that thing runs perfect, that is worth no more than $500 IMO.
