  1. Just remember, I warned you.
  2. Don't do it Wade. Your truck is too nice. No doors is awesome fun, but no matter how hard I tried to adjust them, I could never get them to line up as good as they did before. Everyone I know who's done this has run into the same issues, opening and closing the door, and getting them to seal. I tried 97+ door seals to see if that would make it better, and if it did I couldn't really tell. I probably won't ever do it again, unless I lived in a area like California or Arizona where there is a lot more warm dry weather. So in a nutshell I loved it for about 3 months, and hated it for 9.
  3. Now that is a good lookin truck.
  4. Jim I'd like to present you with this trophy, on behalf of everyone here at Comanche Club, for your amazing effort to answer a question most would have shrugged off. You really went above and beyond on this one, and we commend you for it. Hopefully "Hick" is as grateful.
  5. Wash it, then post some more pics. But if its running and driving, $800 is not a bad deal at all. Nice grab, and welcome to the Club.
  6. I'll vote option 2 also. However, you're not allowed to go with a rim over 17" in diameter.
  7. If that were local I'd snatch that up in a second. My goal in life is to daily drive a 5.9 Cummins powered Grand Wagoneer. Even though that's a Cherokee, I'd make it work.
  8. Welcome back Pete. I missed you. :D
  9. True. No matter how it sounds, at the end of the day it's still a 4-banger.
  10. I hear ya' on that one.
  11. It hangs a little low, but it looks pretty good.
  12. Bling Bling! Those rims are sick!
  13. I know I'll get in trouble for saying this, but in my opinion I think a 4.3l Chevy would be just as easy, probably easier than, a 4.0 swap, especially in an 86. The real question here is what is your budget? The cheapest and easiest way to do it, would be to sell your Jeep, then buy one with a 4.0. If you are smart and take your time, you might even come out of that having made money.
  14. I used Protecto-Wrap (Same thing as peel'n'seel) in a Ford Festiva I owned. Worked great, did the whole car, including the hood, hatch, and roof, for like $30. I'll be doing it again in my XJ. It's not going to turn your MJ into a Lexus on the highway so don't expect that, but it will quiet things down.
  15. I googled Waterford and that's the first number that came up. lol
  16. I've had much better luck with SEM products than I have had with Krylon Fusion. SEM makes a much higher quality product in my opinion.
  17. Have you looked into a 4.3l swap?
  18. If you would like to reach Wade, he can be contacted at (262) 534-9291.
  19. I'm so sad I didn't get to go. Maybe I'll drive out for the next one.
  20. The carpet in my Jeep could use a good cleaning. What is the best way to go about doing this? I've already removed it from the rig.
  21. That is a really nice bumper. I love the design.
  22. Careful guys, rabbit jokes don't fly here.
