Nevermind, I was wonder how they'd line up with the H.D. offroad engineering stiffeners, but after looking at both, I'd be better off to just use their front set up too.

Your buddy runs that joint? How close does his front stiffeners come to matching the HD uni-rail stiffeners?

I yanked the 231 out of my XJ, sold it for $75, and installed a 242 I bought for $40. I don't believe the 231 is much stronger in stock form. Having that full-time (AWD) option is awesome, and I've never had linkage issues.

I had a full Detroit in the front of my MJ, I didn't like it. Get a selectable.

I just used a generic overflow bottle from NAPA when I did my swap on my 87. Worked great.

You'll need an AX-15 and an NP231 and a set of waggy 44s loaded with 5.38s and some new 33s. At least that's what I'd do.

I agree 100%. The 0331 head may be weaker but its a non issue in my opinion.

Also 99 was the first year for the low-pinion 30. But I have seen HP 99s so be sure and check.
