Okay the I have seen a few other MJ's on here with V8s in them. So what do you guys do to keep your V8s cool in these little trucks. Mine was originally a 2.8. The stock 2.8 Rad works O.K. and I already have a seperate trans cooler and I am gonna install some LeBaron Vents. Ant other ideas? My trucks seems to like to run about 220.
Any pics or ideas. I found a couple write ups on the web but was wondering if anybody has done it to their MJ. i am looking for ways to make my V8 run a bit cooler.
The new H3's and H1's even have a factory undercarrige armor kit that is pretty impressive. I do like the military Humvee though. And i do have a "If I wanted a hummer I would have asked your sister" sticker on my slider window. :D
Well my hinges are held on by some puny roll pins. So I am gonna hammer them out and replace them with bolts. I have also cooked up a plan to get another set of doors, gut them and make a light weight set of doors.
I was doing some research and came across a few people that had suggested using a bolt in place of the pin. This idea sounds the best to me. How difficult is it to remove those pins altogether?
I am looking at bolth the Formatt Fabrications and the Warrior Products tube doors. Anybody want to throw some opinions my way on either of the products? And how hard is it to modify your factory doors to be removeable. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
I don't seem to see very many of you guys running Skyjacker lifts. I got my 3" lift for around $650.00 and it came with all new poly bushings, LCA'S and coils. Oh yeah and the track bar relocating bracket. The only thing I don't like is the add-a-leafs. They seem to be good quality but my truck sits about 1/2" lower in the rear. But I will be installing drop shackles to correct this. All in all for a cost effective lift it ain't to bad. I would like to hears some cons on the Skyjacker stuff so I can keep an eye out for problems. :chillin:
Anyone know if the Rugged Ridge headlight guards for an 87 wrangler will fit a comanche? I looked up the headlight bulb and it is the same part number as the comanche.
