werent they all red? i've never seen a non-red chief x2 If I were you, paint it black and have Spencer (of Jeep sticker fame) do up a red vinyl decal for the Comanche Chief logo. When I paint my MJ with the SporTruck trim pkg, I'm having a local jeeper do up the pinstriping and SporTruck on the side. A nice set of Limited rims painted black, coil spacers up front to even out the stance of the MJ and some bondo to the offending holes. Make my red mj all nice again. sry for the Highjack, nice MJ haha.

I for one am kinda happy that us jeepers get an SRT Jeep. admitted Id rather see it in the new Gladiator concept, but really, Id rather Jeep and DCX bend with the trend rather than stick it out and fail miserably. Id kill for another Cherokee, orthe MJ with updated frontend and parts. Id gladly pay $33 000 for a 2008 Comanche but I can forsee purchasing a Compass/Libertoy/Wrangler in the future if I ever get a family going. A nice family vehicle, that's good on gas and still a Jeep. I'm a Jeeper till I die. Kids or not haha.

just on the fact that you're a hardcore pontiac fan, I spotted a red '91 Eliminator sitting in the grocery store pklot with the GM Firebird painted on the hood, I don't mean any knock off, I mean *the* firebird haha, looked pretty sweet. oh even better. 4.0L HO, 5spd, 15, xxx KM's on the clock :D

I overwent my last one by about a thousand km's, if not close to. I drained the oil into an old 4L icecream container and I nearly pooped myself. I could still see through the container. Ive got 297 040 on the clock and the oil was close to golden coming out after 5000kms. I threw some more 10w30 with a new filter in, cranked her over and had no lifter ticking, no valve noise, just the sound of my exhaust leak haha. Advice: nothing kills a Renix faster than no oil changes, so change that oil!

I fuxed up. I was backing into my driveway, and didn't crank the wheel enough.. backed into the telephone pole around 15km/h put a niiiice cave in in my bumper under the taillight.

punch a skrewdriver through it. apply twist. Or get a pair of mech's gloves or dish gloves.. you know the yellow ones that people put on then grab your head with? yeah. they'll take a OF out lickety split

figured it out. I didn't tighten the proper bolts on the idler, and the belt slipped off again. Repaired that, reseated my TPS. She idles nice now, and has all my lights and such good too. Threw in a bottle of antifreeze for gastanks in the tank along with a few gallons of gaz-o-line

yeah, I just did and all electrical systems are a-ok! nope, no cold-start heater hose :thwak: it may be iced over. Its -10 farenheit here ferchrissake. I'm at work, its sitting in the driveway in the sun, so that should help. The alt is fine, I hope. haha If I stop the truck, then restart it, then stop it again. (Not giving the alt any time to charge) It still rolls right over like a champ. If I run it for 5 mins stop it and turn it back on, still runs fine. heater fan is strong, my lights are slightly dim on the dash, a little weird. Lastnight when I was driving home, it was also really cold, and when I was driving. If I shifted into 1 or 2 to slow down, the lights dimmed right out, even if I was revving the engine. Soon as I started moving, they brightened back up. Its weird. I *did* detect some brake fluid on the clutch pedal, so I stuffed a rag up above the fusebox, but if any clutch fluid has gotten on the fusebox, what should I look for?

Its bitterly cold today. I went to start the truck, and as I was letting it warm up the alt. light came on. So I turned it off, checked the belt. Looser than a $.05 hooker. Tightened it up, went back and started it. alt. light is still on. All my lights are ok, truck idles fine, so I take off. As I'm shifting through the gears, it will start to accelerate fine, then bogs right down. like someone tried to idle it in 4th gear, but even if I slam the accelerator to the floor. Its still bogged down, I have a hole in my gastank, I haven't put gasline antifreeze in yet, could that be my problem? I may also be out of gas, but I shouldn't. When I swing a corner, my needle sways with me, like there's something in the tank. wtf is going on haha.

oh, good enough. I just wanted to know what the differences were, and the abbreviations haha.

obviously you haven't three-footed it down a steep, snowcovered hill with the truck in reverse :brows: t'was an interesting evening when the jeep was in rev. with the ebrake on, and the snow still let it slide away. popped the brake, started her up and was gaining speed going forward while the wheels are screaming in reverse :nuts: Id go for an auto for hard wheeling. I'm going with an AW4 in my rockbuggy cherokee. My truggy it if money holds out.

Ive got no girlfriend right now, but my old man doesn't mind it, thinks its a good vehicle, albeit the rust and smell. All will be fixed in the spring :D A good sign is the girl I currently like likes the MJ, so hey. I may be in luck hehe

I'm not in college, but i didn't lock my truck the other night and got in to discover my cb's wires pulled out of where they had been covered up (freakin A$$hole couldn't just unplug the damned thing and stolen it... Noooooo, he had to rip the #)(^*)@#($&* wires out... it took alot of time/effort to wire that crap up nice. so yea, 40$ cb gone... 200 dollar 6x9 speakers in separate little mini-boxes with wires running to stock rear locations... still there? 150$ cd player... still there? wth was this guy smokin? same people who tried to tp a car at school with frozen toilet paper.
