took the transmission to the mechanic, and inflated a flat tire...

took the "new" transmission to the mechanic today, should have the Jeep by the end of the week.. I decided this was a good photo op of the MJs! . finally got a picture of my 10 spoke rims! :yes:

I spent the past 8 weeks dealing with idiots on ebay who can't tell identify that the pictured item is what you should send and not some random crap for a wrangler. :fs1: 10+ emails later i should have gotten the correct part but nope, another part for a stupid wrangler, :headpop: as for my AX-15 tranny i made a 200 mile round trip to get it and they crushed the ax-15 crossmember and mount plate i needed with the Comanche... :fs2: and because if the dumb *** on ebay holding me up the 30 day warranty for the tranny is up.. My Comanche has been sitting at the shop for 6 months while i have been searching for that tranny... I am willing to pay someone who can actually sell me what i need instead of wasting my time.. :rant: The car show i was entering the Comanche in will be in week or to, if all goes well i should still be able to enter. assuming i did not get a dud transmission, Edit: I might not have been in a pleasant mood last night.

That website does have ax-15 tranny mount plates! needless to say i am very happy, tomorrow morning i will be taking the tranny stuff up to the mec.

i was looking for a AX-15 transmission mount bracket when i came across this website wholesalemopar.com when i called them they said they had the part in their obsolete parts warehouse so i ordered it. Don't know if anyone has used the Website but may be helpful getting some of those hard to find parts. when i get home i should know for sure if i got what i was wanting or not :D

Dad and i are working on an XJ and we want to replace the front seats, well we went to the pick and pull to but some seats. when we got back to remove the old seats the bolts are in different locations.. are the seat bolt studs in different location if it is electric or manual seats? and we can't get the original seats out there is one bolt we know it there but can't find/ get to it.. if we can't get the seats out we are going to rig them to work on my CJ5 one way or another :brows:

i think someone stole the license plate while my Jeep was at the shop... Monday I am going to call the shop and ask if they moved it to the office.. but for good measure i took my tailgate home with me.

well if we are showing off the interior, mine is not as nice... however i do like the rhino liner in the cab, my plans are to put down more sound proofing stuff then carpet

spray in rhino liner in the bed, flares, and rock panels. as well as repainting my rims and polishing the center caps and a little dirt can't hurt, after all it is a Jeep here are some more resent pics

my room mate's Audi had a random multiple misfire code, it was a cracked vacuum line
