Whatever you're drinking, I'll try one. :clapping: :rotfl2: -
I agree, I have a Wet Okole on my bench seat and the fit is great and so is the quality. what seat cover did you get? do you still have the item number? dad got a cheap one for his bench and it as super baggy and looks tacky. thanks

the 2 inch lift for cheap..?
Blue88Comanche replied to coon.hunter_21's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
:agree: when i put the MT springs on the rear it must have lifted the back of the jeep about 3-5 inches from where it was, going over bumps is fine but if i drive through a hole the shocks max out and its not very smooth ride with short shocks -
my uncle has a 1991 300ZX and it has dual 4 inch exhaust. we think the last owner hollowed out the muffler and possibly the cat, all we know is it is stupid loud. I just sold the car he was letting me borrow while my jeep is in the shop and now i need another car to use. we don't really have time or money to get a new exhaust put in it at moment. in theory a exhaust silencer attaches to the inside of the exhaust tip and makes the 4 inch hole a 2 inch as well as quiet it down a little.

a puck or coil spacer is a spacer put between the front coil spring and the frame. as for the shackles it is just a longer shackle however it will wear your leaf springs faster. I would get some coil springs from a V8 ZJ 1997 grand cherokee 4x4. you would gain about 2 inches lift and would go through the same steps as installing spacers. you can get moog brand from advance auto parts for about $80, i have variable rate springs and they smoothed the ride out a lot. i don't know much about shackle lift but you can get add a leaf lift kits for about $100 or so. -
you will need to move the engine wiring harness from the Cherokee to the Comanche. the 2.5, 4.0, and 4.0 High Output all have different engine harnesses.. I think you may need to do some rewiring in the cab but maybe someone will have an answer for sure. you may need to redo the dash wiring because of the H.O. swap and the electronic speed sending unit on the transfer-case

I have done it a few times and installed a new rom on it.. it ran faster and was able to use a faster "h" network instead of the 3G

when mt AX-15 mount comes in (hopefully it is the correct one this time) i was going to get some measurements so my cousin might can make a few at Auburn's machine shop. what type of metal should we use, steel or can we use aluminum? the part i want to make is the metal plate that bolts the transmission to the cross member thanks
-
guess that is more of a dealer option. as far as i can tell however it was the bumper that was sold on the truck.

thanks, should make things a little easier -
about six months ago the transmission went out in my Blue MJ (my DD) it had the BA-10/5. seeing this as the perfect time to up grade transmissions i have everything needed but the transmission mount to attach the transmission the the cross member.... so far the guy on ebay has set me back by 7 weeks.. it took him to 2 weeks to get the part shipped and a week to get to me :headpop: , only to find out that he shipped the wrong part (yes i also ordered the wrong part but the part sent was not even the part i bought) so a week of email back and forth and he said that he would send the part i thought i was what i needed. two weeks later he ships the part, so a week later i finally get the second part only to find that it is an AX-15 mount but its for a wrangler... :fs1: so i sent them another email yesterday and have yet to hear back... does any one know where i can get a transmission mount for my AX-15, i need the part that bolts onto the transmission to the cross member... i have been looking for the past 7 weeks and can't find what i need, my search only brings up the rubber part...

front axle is a direct swap, and unless you plan to do spring over axle you won't need reweld anything. -
