had to get gas last night , so i pull into the local self-serve station . i go in and tell the attendant " $20.00 on the red jeep " so , she looks out at the pumps and says , " i don't see any jeep out there ? " i say , it's right there on pump #1 ! she replys , "that's not a wrangler" i say , your right ! it isn't a wrangler , it's a jeep comanche ! she says " that's a jeep ? " so i told her a brief history not wanting to take up time and p/o others in line ! being young ( late teens /early 20's i'm sure she had never seen another ... hopefully now she knows not all jeeps are " wrangler's " ! ahh , the product of a differant generation ! not the first time this has happened ... anyone else ??? . :MJ 1: . :banana:

only suggested the "harbor freight " ones ( ftpiercefirecracker 1 ) because there readily available / close by ... yeah , you will chew up a few ... but it's better than nothing ! believe me , i only use harbor freight stuff when i absolutely have too !!! :banana: . :MJ 1: .

when i first got my '87 (2.5 , 4 sp) 'bout 5 yrs ago ... my manual steering box was so worn , it was the first thing i upgraded with :banana: . :MJ 1: . p/s !

have the same one as mntclimber ... 2 lg ice coffee's fit perfect ! kool thing about that is it adjusts to differant sizes ... got mine at autozone ! . :MJ 1: . :banana:

a "project" mj i have had 4 out of 6 leaking injectors ... after disassembling the fuel rail and replacing all (2 on each injector) the o-rings and re-assemble , no leaks ! yes , make sure the clips are in good condition and are "locked" on ! :MJ 1: :banana: ( oh , napa stocks the o-rings)
