  1. like the fiberglass snorkels on Ebay, they are cheap and work but I'm sure being fiberglass they don't take a hit very well. aren't those wheels pretty much hummer wheels also?
  2. I have no idea what those fenders are like, they may already have a stud on them if they were modeled after 97+ fenders. if not you may just have come up with a bracket to attach the bottom of the header panel so it has something to secure the bottom of it.
  3. I know that the fender brackets are different but there is also a stud on the newer fenders that go through the header panel behind directional under the headlight and uses a 10mm nut to secure the bottom of the header panel to the fenders.
  4. also the newer style fenders have a forward facing stud that goes through the new style header panel. if you use a new header panel without the old fenders it is only held on by the top mounting bracket. I used zip ties to hold the bottom but I'm sure you can easily make a bracket to hold it.
  5. Just the one and a half (trailer) that are in my driveway and have not moved in a while :headpop:
  6. I let him know. he said he had tried to join a while ago but had troubles. I gave him automans email from the jeep forum post.
  7. hey, that's my local forum. I had mentioned this place to him before, I am not sure if he ever stopped over. Then again I may not have mentioned it to him, so I will now.

  9. what year XJ? 97+? if so: (aluminum) http://www.genright.com/ProductInfo.asp ... id=APR1000 (aluminum) http://www.atozfabrication.com/store/Pu ... ee-XJ.html http://www.ebay.com/itm/RCI-2161A-Fuel- ... 500wt_1203 This one should also work I think http://www.kore4x4customs.com/index.php ... &Itemid=54
  10. get the 97+ 10 blade fan, they move the most air out of the aux Cherokee fans. http://www.ebay.com/itm/97-01-Jeep-Cher ... 638wt_1140 hook it up with the same gauge wires it uses for its pigtail that comes on the fan assembly and use a relay. then you can trigger it with the thermostat (not sure exactly how that works) or you can put it on a switch.
  11. Nice looking good. :clapping: hopefully I can start my swap soon, my slave cylinder went out in it again so I can't even drive it around. I'm getting antsy to drive it around.
  12. That is pretty sweet looking, though for me if I somehow got one I would want to put a 97-01 front end on it. I just don't really like the look of the 2500 and this new ones front. and put a solid axle in the front.
  13. I got a yellow top 5 years ago for my car, 3 years later it started to loose its charge after a few nights. brought it back where I got it they said it was a bad cell and gave me another under warranty. new one didn't even last 2 years before giving me problems. starter would click but not turn over as if the starter was sticking. turn the key 3, 4, 5, 20 times and then it would start. cleaned the connections, replaced wires, cleaned ground, changed starter, "There is no way a yellow top would go bad after 2 years?" I thought. Had it tested, will not hold a charge. got a Diehard platinum early this winter and has worked flawlessly so far. I need to contact optima and see if they can do anything for me. and if they give me another one I think that will be the only way I will end up with another optima battery.
  14. I use searchtempest to look around on craigslist. also remember that people are not very good spellers, so loose you good speller cap once in a while and throw in a few extra M's or E's.
  15. yep, that sure is a pink Comanche.
  16. just watched it a little while ago. you have to wonder if it is fake because she is just to stupid for it to be real.
  17. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f53/2000 ... n-1327006/ there is also a guy over that says he has had an extended cab since 94 (this guy made fixed the link for him) http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f53/2000 ... st13209931
  18. Man, if only I could justify getting another one. I will tell someone that was looking for one on my local wheeling website.
  19. I grabbed on after I had some smoke floating around my cab. turned out a mouse made a nest in my heater box right up against the resistor. grabbed on at walmart and have had it floating around the cab until I can find a better place to mount it. also if you have it for a while I heard that you should shake it up to get the chemicals mixed up again. I guess the bumps when driving compacts the chemicals to the lower side of the extinguisher and could cause it not to work properly.
  20. what happens if the LED goes bad? do you have to replace the whole housing again? or can you swap out the LEDs?
  21. http://www.hellcreeksuspensions.com/ they are also a member here, and I think there may be a CC discount? after re-reading I think you were looking for a place to buy coils and had a question about MT springs. my bad.
