  4. I pulled them when I painted then put them back on. Thanks Chad
  5. I've been thinking about going with chrome lugs and leaving the center things silver but painting the Jeep letters black. I need new lugs anyways since I still have the factory two piece ones that like to come apart and get stuck in the lug wrench :fs2: . I'm not sure yet... Thanks Chad
  6. I got all my rims painted. There the 16" Rubicon Rims Painted Black. I need to get black lug nuts still. I might paint the little silver things black, and have were it says JEEP in silver. What do you guys think? Thanks Chad
  7. That's a long bed... On the short bed the gas filler is centered between the front of the box and flare... edit: nevermind.... I coulda sworn your post said short bed the first time I read it.
  8. The leaf springs sure weren't...

  11. My dad has a little kerosene torpedo heater we use to heat the shop (haven't hooked up the real heater yet), it works good but is very loud. Like we have to yell at each other if were more than a couple feet apart. Puts out some good heat though.
  12. Spare Tire and any misc sensors you have.
  13. :agree: I live in Aptos Ca. But that's still at least a 3 hour drive....

    rock rails

It looks like the back one is already bent to me... I'm pretty sure the bottom of the bed is parallel with the bottom of the cab. I could be wrong though. I prefer the ones like Pete has. But it's your truck so do what you like. p.s. why doesn't the Comanche Club truck logo thing have rock rails?
  15. Played with it a couple days ago... Still regretting it.... Already put about 10 hrs into cleaning it.... Still can't stick my hand under it with out getting it covered in dirt.... Gonna clean it more tomorrow... maybe... Also started painting my Rubicon rims black, don't have a pic yet though.
  16. The later model 4.0 liters didn't even come with the EGR junk.
  17. Are those the alloy rims but painted black? I have been wanting to paint mine black but I don't know what kinda paint to use...
  18. Some people ditch the factory box and put a cone filter in the cowl.
  19. Grown ups shouldn't ride tricycles...
  20. That's what bump stops are for. :D
  21. It's a 99. I hope you're wrong. Why? the NV3550 is just as good as an ax15
  22. I don't think that you can put it in to far...You have to thread it all the way OUT to take it apart. Why did you take the belt off , you can tighten it with the belt on.
  23. I want to get this done ASAP. Couldn't I just use a Cherokee proportioning block and run one line to the rear axle and take off the Height sensing thing? Should I take off the height sensing thing or just leave it on? Thanks Chad
  24. I believe there is a special tool to measure to tightness(?) with. My Haynes manual says what it's supposed to be set at. But I usually go to "right about there"...
