  1. Fixed my broken headlight switch, extended tranny and t-case breathers to top of fire wall. :wrench:
  2. It's not in the off road section :(
  3. Does anyone have one of these on their MJ or other trucks? If so, How do you like it? http://www.softopper.com/Softopper_Model__TN73C-details.aspx?TruckDetails=1986-1992%20Jeep%20Comanche%2073%20inches http://www.softopper.com/Default.aspx
  4. You could check the tag (if it has one) but it's safer to count the teeth like described above.
  5. My 88 Olympic Pioneer came with the full center console and buckets.
  6. Didn't some come with white gauges from the factory? :dunno:
  7. When I put a dana 44 in mine I used the stock drive shaft. My suspension is all stock and it worked just fine.
  8. I get Jp magazine and Petersons. I think that Jp is WAY better. I have E-mailed Trasborg lots of times with questions and/or second opinions and he is always very helpful. I always find there articles very interesting and helpful. I find myself waiting every month for the new issue to come and end up reading the whole thing on the first day, then I'm stuck waiting again. Jp is the way to go.
  9. Cruise control mabe, mine was yellow tho. :dunno:
  10. If your talking about the quick release connection, I believe there are supposed to be two O-rings in there with a little spacer thingy. I think, but could be wrong.
  11. Mine did something similar to that, I cleaned all the plugs and it still wouldn't work, so I gave up. A couple days later I was looking at it again and one of the wires going into the plug under the very back corner of the bed was just a little bit loose. I jammed it back in really good and they have worked fine since.
  12. I did my 88 just by pulling the manifold out a little bit, but it's much easier to just take the whole manifold off. And that way you can clean it really good since it's already out. Not hard at all, just takes some time.
  13. I just used a cotter pin puller and/or screw driver, they come off pretty easy but are very brittle and like to break if you aren't careful. :wrench:
  14. Check ALL vaccume lines and try calibrating the TPS (throttle positioning sensor). Also check the IAC motor (idol air control) That helped mine alot.
  15. This is a great build so far! Just gotta say that I think you should look into the Iceland off road flares. Just my tho. Haven't found any one who put them on a mj yet but don't see why they wouldn't fit. http://icelandoffroad.com/CherokeeXJ/XJFenderFlares2Door/tabid/1952/language/en-US/Default.aspx
  16. Would it be okay to connect a couple of the breathers together into a bigger hose? That way I won't have four separate breathers running up the fire wall When I extend mine. Thanks

  18. I'm gonna guess that it was a pretty small fifth wheel?
  19. Awesome truck! What size lift are you running?
  20. Is it a manual or auto? Mine is a manual and I have to push in the clutch to get it to work.
  21. At the 1:40 mark, there are supposed to be 2 little hoses connected to the back of the air box. Realy doubt that would be causing exhaust issues though. :wrench:
  22. Dang, sounds like a good deal!! How many miles were on it? 150k but had a new short block installed at around 100k due to a factory casting defect.
