thats a good looking jeep with an awesome rear axle...i would just keep that one in and if you need just swap in an open carrier with the correct ratio....thats just my $.02

Wranglers used them in 95 and i think that cherokees did the same

ive already had the pleasure of replacing my original master cylinder and replaced them at that time so i hope they come off easier now...i am swapping to a 97 mastercylinder now so ill have to make new lines again anyways

here's a protofab4x4 on my MJ...i like it but i looked at most of those and decided on this one b/c he live in my state, he delivered to my house and i got a break on it since i worked with his brother in law....

i had a single in dual out setup on my MJ and i liked it at first but then after a while just took it off and redesigned how my new exhaust ran....it a single flowmaster 40-series that dumps out behind the rear wheel(stock location) but above the leaf spring and tucked up out of the way

i have 2 10" pinoeers w/ a 700watt amp...had them behind my bench seat and they are still back there with my full console and bucket seats..

yea hes close to me so i can just pick it up :D and i can trade in my 4.10 for 4.56 in my d30....i havent installed them yet so my buddy said i could bring them back

hey all i found an XJ D44 w/ 4.56's.....awsome shape...all brakes included..e-brake etc...new gears...hes wanting 350 but i said i could offer 300..what ya'll think

your correct...the d35 had both plastic and screw in plugs...weird :nuts:

i found a D44 in a comanche a while back at the local j/y and asked how much they wanted and he said 50 bucks...missing all brake hardware...so i went to get back to get it and they crushed the truck axle included :headpop: :mad:

hey did you lose any height when you swapped in the 8.8 and kept it SUA...thats what i want to do but don't want the rear to sit any lower??/

yea my d35 has a screw in plug also but hey there is always an axle swap...thats what I'm doing as soon as i can find one lol

i tried for 2mnths to get my old system to work and finally just swapped in all new 93XJ stuff...works great and never get above 210...even in traffic

that is a d35.....if its a stock rearend the MJ never came with an 8.25 ever...only the d35 or d44...and in 86 the AMC 20

hopefully he still has it otherwise I'm on the hunt for a upgrade for my d35 that already has 4.56

i ran 235/75 r15 on stock rims w/5" b/s and barely rubed my control arms....you should be good

would there be a difference performance wise from 4.10's to 4.56?? i want this truck to perform good on and offroad...mostly offroad :D

hey all...i have a dilema that I'm trying to figure out...i have stock 3.07's right now and have a matchin 4.10's for the front and rear...Now the problem is that these gears are for the d30/35 combo but i found a D44 out of an XJ with 4.56's...i can trade the guy i bought the 4.10 for 4.56 for the d30 then just pitch the d35 of course....Now comes my dilema....i live in Arizona and was wondering which gear set would be better...4.10 or 4.56???? i am running a 4.0L, 5spd with 32's right now but plan to step up to 33's thx for the help

looks awesome...don't worry about the AAL...i have had the same one in the rear of mine for over 2yrs and no sag...maybe its just my good fortune :D
