  17. hey guys...i got another dilema to deal with and this one is my 'manche....now i love the look of the 97 front end on the comanche's make them look real sweet....now i have my stock front end with the fiberglass fenders already installed here are my options: 1. Should i replace my header panel with a stock replacement(mine is damaged)? 2. Replace my header panel with the +97 panel and keep my fiberglass flares? 3. Replace my entire frontend with the +97 header, fenders and all the other goodies? I dunno what to do I'm kinda torn between all 3 decisions LOL lemme know which would be the best...ill get some more recent pics of my MJ up soon...THX JEEP ON!!!
  18. there is a plastic line that comes out underneath the overflow bottle and connects to the bypass valve and that is what controls the flow to the heater core
  19. personally i would hook the valve back up and reattach the vacuum line that controls how much coolant gets to the heater core....at worst it could be a clogged heater core
  20. if its done correctly you shouldnt lose any power or torque...i wouldnt worry about it too much
  21. there is a bunch of differences and to my recollection is all in the fuel injection system.....completley different cylinder head, intake, injectors and throttle body not to mention the wiring harness...hope that helps`
  22. yea i was leaning toward no just because my car is in good shape..not showroom condition but i would take it to a car show with a wax job and a cleaning lol Thx for all your input JEEP ON!!
  23. hey guys i need help.... i have a 1978 El camino that i am trying to sell in order to buy another jeep XJ or preferably and MJ but I'm not to picky...it has alot of work done to it which includes new motor, trans, rear end, tires, rims, autometer guages, carb, exhaust, and fuel pump....and runs great Now i got an offer for a trade straight across from a guy who has a 1986 XJ 4x4 with a 4.3L vortec conversion with edelbrock intake, holley carb, hedders and camshaft installed in the jeep hooked up to a 700r4 and model 20 t-case hooked up with advanced adapters equipement. It broke a timing chain and bent a valve and is missing the radiator and front driveshaft but everything esle is great....also got a 4in lift installed already with stock rims and tires but i have some 33's in my yard.. What u guys think i should do??? Trade or sell my car and wait for a better deal???
