  1. Exactly how i feel since i have worked at both Walmart TLE (2yrs) and now at Discount Tire (1.5 yrs)... Our policy is if ANY tire is more than 9yrs old we will not work on them no matter what the customer wants done...
  2. wiring is the same...all you do is swap sides for the healights and then add another turn signal bulb from another harness if you want the 2 bulbs in the turn signals...i just used the one and it was fine
  3. i choose certifit quite often.....I'm usually hit or miss with the fitment tho
  4. i see the same couple running around town near me but I'm never in my MJ...always in the XJ or dakota LOL....seen a couple new ones recently

  7. I bought the same lift when i did my MJ the first time....comes with 3" coils and AAL...thats it...$150 bucks and mine still sat at 3" after 3 yrs of on/offroad driving

  9. here are my MPG roughly: 87 MJ 4.0 5spd 33's 4.10's---26 MPG 90 XJ 4.0 Aw4 32's 3.55's---18 MPG I'm very very easy on them both but if i stomp on them I'm sure the numbers are lower but thats roughly what i avg.
  10. there is a simple way to modify the door striker from the +97 to adapt them to our late model frame...ill post up the link later...its sticky'd on my laptop :roll:

  14. Yeah I would also like to know where you got these. To be honest i havent got a clue...the previous owner had them on there and when i installed my fenders i took them off and sanded then painted them...ill see if i can remember where he said he got them :D

My buddy has M/T springs in the back of his MJ...it had the 2 HUGE and i mean HUGE overload springs at the bottom of the pack...they are not AAL they are the overloads that differenciate the M/T packs from normal sets...he did a SOA with M/T and netted like 9.5" lift so he removed them and dropped the rear way down...Hope that helps

  20. came out of a 86 Ford Ranger...at least thats what the guy i bought it from said...i replaced all the hardware and drilled holes and it bolted right in w/o any mods
  21. LOL...I'm not a fan of chrome what-so-ever...getting rid of it any on the MJ...most of its gone off my XJ (except the grill/headlight bezels) and my dakota is totally black :brows:

  23. It was a smittybuilt...they were on it front and rear when i bought it...rear one saved the rear of my MJ when i was involved in an accident but ended up trashing the bumper itself....then the front was replaced by my Protofab4x4 one...
  24. i would keep the 2.1 TD...they are far and few between
  25. Update: Well after over a month i finally got the MJ back on the road...but i have to pull the new distributor out and replace the gasket b/c now its leaking :roll: O well its an easy fix...also got my roll-bar finally and am getting it prepped to install Pics up when roll bar is installed!!!
