  2. Did oil change(after going to the store 3 times to get the right filter :fs1: ), new O2 sensor, replaced the wiper bushings. Will we if it's any better on the way to work tomorrow and truck barely fits in my Garage!! Maybe a food of room if that
  3. That is sweet, your girl's got mad skillz. No wonder you're gettin' hitched!! Congrats
  4. Lookin good, these things take a bit of time. Just keep going at it and it'll be finished eventually. :wrench:
  5. Great find and Welcome..... yeah you'll get the itch. Like the tires looks like you're runnin' 30's or 31's ??
  6. Rewired the front marker lights and headlights so they work now. :jump: Had Rear tailights and functioning signals but no front marker lights, then me low beams went on me :wall: s'okay though it was two wires corroded/broke off at the big black connector on the drivers side behind headlight.
  7. Would recommend marking the orientation of the driveshaft ears to the yoke before removing as some are balanced better one way than the other. Just mark on one side with chalk a line so you can line it up afterwards. I mention this as after i removed mine to replace the rear u-joint I just put the shaft back in. Made an aweful howling, took bolts out rotated 180 and reinstalled, noise gone. :wrench:
  8. Check Walmart for the poster frames - 27 x 40 $19.98 but that is the largest one they have.
  9. Went ou tto start mine yesterday morning, no start had to drive 94YJ into work. Bro'in'law picked up a starter for me and i installled last night in my driveway -12 :Canadaflag: fired right up after. drove it into work today
  10. Got mine and it's up in my Garage!!! Awesome work, thanks to everyone

Awesome Jim, :jump: :clapping: AWESOME
  15. Picked up a double hoop rollbar to put in my MJ in the spring once I've Herculined the bed!
  16. If it's the truck in your link, that looks like a sweet find!!! Plus it's already lifted with better tires :clapping: nice
  17. Surprised nobody has done this yet! Need some updated pics dude!!!! We're a visual crowd ya know   :needpics: Nice work so far on your MJ
  18. :agree: Just read the whole post, all four pages! Is it a little harsh?? a bit yeah, but several good points. -Be supportive -get in there and help if you can -encourage their work list goes on..... Are there women out there who would do what is in that post?? maybe a couple, but they would most likely have been raised around vehicles and worked on them as well. Most of us are looking for somone who will at least understand(maybe) our obsession/dedication or whatever you want ot call it, and at least support our decisions and help us however they can.
  19. :agree: I give my Jeeps and inspection before I go wheeling as well as first thing in the spring. I also check the brakes after any wheeling trip before heading home(especially if there was deep mud). Still learning myself but most of it is common sense and regular PM on our vehicles.
  20. And just one more reason that used U-bolt should never be reused!!! The price of new u-bolts is a small price to pay for the safety factor of new u-bolts.
  21. On the automatics I always drain and replace fluids and the filter, I do not use the rubber gaskets included with the filter as I use Ultra Copper or Ultra Blue Sealant. In my experience using the rubber/cork gaskets alone has never given a good seal, they always warp or deform and leak. When I do it my way I don't have to take it apart again untill the next fluid change! On the manual tranny's I still use sealant but on the drain plug...hell any drain plug for that matter, front & rear diff's t-case & oil pan(guarantee's it not to leak) My .02 cents
  22. Looks great!! I can't wait to get mine on the wall :clapping:
  23. Do it already!! :fool: I'd buy one if I wasn't gonna put a roll bar in my truck.
  24. Kudos on the awesome find!! :jump:
