the more you take it apart, the better lookin your paint job will be(less likely for over spray or tape lines). hell alot of all overs we do at work, we leave the side glass in, just roll it down. u can leave the windsheild in just remove the trim(with the proper tool ;) ). if you take it some were to have it painted, if they don't have to take anyhting off, its usually cheaper. i can usually de trim a car(handles,panels, all outside stuff that isnt getting painted or taped up) in 3 hours.

i drilled the 4 welds out holding the factory backing plate, as mine had to be scooted in more past the factory big hole.

ur supposed to preheat the cast section, preheating never hurts when welding thicker metals, as it allows for better penetration(just like a lady ;) )

yes, i wana say the rails are 1/8 in thick in that area.

hmm sounds to me like the flux core wire is the prob(tho what you used with the machine was prob flux core to..) id try contacting miller in the morn to see whats up, but deff seems like the feed is to tight.

i punched mine out(fists of fury haha) and drill it for an M6x1.0 fender bolt and nut.

ur local paint supply store should carry it.

if there not showin cords, i think you will be fine for a week or so.

will it be good for chrysler? yes, theyll bust the union and close an @$$ ton of stealerships. but in turn prob thousands of people will loose there job due to this.

id run either a 4 or 2 gauge power wire then to a dist. block then to the amps.

ethanol mix gas is awaste of time, i wish they would quit using it. i run fuel cleaner regulary(lucas) to compensate for the corn fuel clogging up the system.
