Thanks for the replies. I just looked at my other truck, at stock height the upper control arm is higher at the axle than the frame. As the axle is initially dropped straight down (to keep it centered) the arm length decreases then increases as it’s lowered more. I thought it was level to start with.

I came across the attached control arm length list, why would lifting 2-3” require shorter upper control arms? Just trying to make sense of things.

Got a set of 1984(?) Jeep emblems (brushed finish) that were in excellent condition and proceeded to polish them: 220 grit mechanical sander to remove texture, sequential 1000, 1500, 3000 grit wet sanding then polishing with a DA polisher and Meguiar’s 105 followed by 205 compounds. Hard to get a good picture of the final result but you get the idea.

Three is the magic number. Congratulations.
