  1. Maybe not really tech, more of advise. Check your load sensing valve after you get new tires installed. I know mine was oriented correctly when I changed the dif fluid a year ago, then I took a pic for another thread and saw it was AFU. I put two and two together, I had new tires installed a month ago and they lifted the truck by the frame, must have extended the rod and when they lowered it the valve moved to this position.
  2. I did not say that. The Draw-Tite fits both since it bolts to the side of the frame where the bumper brackets attach as does a model made by Valley Industries. The Hidden Hitch attaches under the frame and may be bed length specific according to the manufacturer, I have not tried it on my SWB.
  3. That hitch will fit the long bed MJ. I have the exact model on my '89 LWB whereas my '88 and '90 SWB have the Draw-Tite hitch. It mounts differently than the Draw-Tite, below the frame rather than on the side. It does not bolt to the stock bumper as the Draw-Tite, sits a little further back and if I remember correctly one of the holes was slightly off so I expanded it a bit. I personally like the Draw-Tite better and have a spare to replace the Hidden Hitch at some point. Hey, I just noticed my load sensing valve is messed up!!! Good thing I went to take a picture.
  4. I ordered from them two weeks ago and saw that on my receipt, thought it was specific to the vehicle I was ordering parts for. Nice.

  6. Funny, I just replaced the CPS in the'89 on Saturday, I was being extremely carefully but dropped the top bolt into the bellhousing. Same as you Don, magnetic pick up tool didn't work but when I unbolted the inspection plate I found the bolt at the bottom of the housing, very happy. My grommet is also missing, thanks for the availabiliy info.

  11. Cool, Marco Scutaro MVP! Former A's, I remember being at the A's, Yankees game in '07, bottom of the 9th, 2 runs down, 2 outs, 2 on, Marco facing Rivera I think with a full count hits a walk- off home run! That's how it's done against their ace closer!
  12. Humm Baby! Yeah, I'm old.
  13. Is there any room behind the bushing? The puller I had for my pilot bearing was too large and HKB3 on here suggested wetting toilet paper, filling the hole and hammering it in and repeating. The bearing did come out, I was very surprised.
  14. Saw this on this week's episode Going Native S16/E11. What do you think? Image Not Found

  16. Hey Rob thanks for all these, can aa the videos be combined into a sticky so we don't lose them?
  17. After seeing Rob's laserdisc conversion I was reminded that when I purchased my '90 (new) a video came with it. I still have the tape and sleeve but I recorded over it 15 years ago. Does anyone have a copy to convert or that I can convert?

  21. No, they're only $70 , still too much in my opinion. Search their site for part number MJ4WIPE.
  22. Teamcherokee sells them, kind of pricey though.
  23. Search ebay for 72-1002 metra, $4.50 shipped.
  24. Welcome to CC. How long have you had your MJ?
