a few more questions! i lost the 3 screws that screw into the axle tubes (D44) . the 1 that holds on the flex line and the T, and the 2 that hold on the brake line clamp (passy side). can anyone tell me the size of these screws so i don't have to make 10 trips to and from the hardware store? thanks!

so this weekend.... 1.) i got the brakes on the axle ALL assembled. only think thats left to do is run the hard lines from the wheel cylinders to the flex line. 2.) took out the master cylinder, and air box... and just like in PeteM's picture above, i removed the bottom brake line. the one coming off the nose goes back, and is still intact  going to the local auto parts store tomorrow to get the last things, then its going to be on its wheels again! o yeah, pics ASAP!

does your e-brake work? if it does, i would always go to a garage, and just ask for 2 mins of their time, and get a second oppinion.

...my Jeep needed gas, so we pulled off the highway and began a search for a gas station in rural New Brunswick Canada. After about 20 miles of hunting, we see a sign for "Wilson's Fuels" and we begin to follow the signs. About 10 miles later, there was no Wilsons. There were however more arrows pointing to "Wilson's Fules and Convenience." 5 miles later, and we see "WILSON'S!!" (thats what my friend and I shouted because we were sick of driving with the gas light on) on the horizon. We pull in, and fuel up. When we are done fueling 2 cars, we pull off to allow other people to use the 1 pump, and go in to pay. My friend spotted somthing, and pointed it out. We had no idea what it was. Upon further investigation we realized that it was a state of the art security system construted of PVC pipe and 2x4's. This was protecting the almighty "Wilson's Fuels." I took 2 pics, we giggled at it and headed towards the highway again. The End. PS since Wilson's was SO far out of the way, my neighbor coined the term "Wilson's Fuels and EXTREME Inconvenience." :Canadaflag: :USAflag:

i purchased my MJ in NH, and it had no title. i talked with both the NH rmv, and the MA rmv. NH has a policy that if the vehile is over 15 years old, it does not need a title. since this MJ was an 88, NH would not issue a new title. (sounds bad right?) well it wasnt the end of the world. the MA rmv told me that all i needed was proof of ownership by the guy i was buying it from (had to be sure it was his, and that he didnt steal it). an old registration would do fiine, but he didnt have one of those either ( . SO i talked with him, and all they had was a letter from their townhall notifying them that they needed to re-register the vehicle. it had the color, VIN, year, owners name, address. with that and the bill of sale MA issued me a new title. now MA has their pants soo tight about cars, i was VERY surprised that i was able to title my MJ, but i did. sorry for the story. could you try what i did, with just getting proof of ownership from Bonkers? EDIT: i just read through the thread, and how bonkers can't find the PO. sorry, but i don't have any ideas. i hope you can get the MJ on the road. what about buying a junked MJ with a title (for a few hunderd) and swapping the VINs. (i know its illegal).
