  1. the Skyjacker setup is designed NOT to bolt to the original factory lower mount, the original track bar along with the inverted Y steering linkage is doomed to bumpsteer the more you lift it.this kit it is a true bolt on set up, no welding needed, the only other way to correct your angles between the drag link and the track bar with an OTA track bar, are weld in kits. Not only does is line up the angles of the drag link and track, it also puts them on the same arc.
  2. This is the setup ill be running on my MJ when i 4wd swap it. its a Skyjacker BTA-10 kit for MJ\XJs. its the only OTA track bar that is bolt on. the bar itself is solid, not tube. and as you can see lines up perfectly with the drag link is adjustable, and shouldnt have any bumpsteer.
  3. how much would shipping be to 48309?
  4. So who out there is lucky enough to have of these gems like me? lol i actually like sunroofs as long as they don't leak, which at the moment this one does not, but its also non funtional. does anyone out there have a parts source for these? i want to fix this and the headliner before i get the truck paint ready.
  5. i don't see why it wouldnt work on a Renix either, DEI is a quality product. well known in the drag racing world.
  6. thanks guys! I'm doing a color change on my interior, going from grey to the light tan\Palomino color, ive got a dash, A pillar pieces, kick panels and a center console, ill just be Dying the B pillars plastics so hopefully it will cover well. I'm actually gonna do all my swap parts which are all from different MJs\XJsbso they all match.👍 this is a great thread very helpful, thanks for the info
  7. So you all have just cleaned these parts obviously very well, and then directly sprayed the SEM color of choice onto the peices? , no primer before the paint color? who on this thread has gone from grey to camel or palomino?
  8. I'm adapting a smittybuilt rear tube bumper for a JK on mine👍

    Dogs!

I used to think that Rat terriers and jack Russell terriers were the best dogs ever, my mind has been changed. Ill never have another breed from here on out, yes they are a little hard headed(all bulldogs), but they play hard, and they love hard. ive never had a more loyal dog and ive had german shepards, Airdale terriers, rat terriers and Jack Russels. on the right is a standard American bulldog, on the left is a staffordshire terrier.
  11. i sent the guy a message, because i sent him one when i found his add, he wasnt aware he had a police pkg XJ. his add has been deleted, but ill let you know if he still has it and if its for sale
  12. i believe it was a 93, i just did a quick search and couldnt fint it, guy only wanted 1200$ for the whole jeep. it was white with tan interior
  13. as far as i know yes also. and ive only ever seen one with column shift and its in indiana for sale on FB marketplace right now
  14. Lovin this channel!!👍👍
  15. OR-fab for the front, and a Smittybuilt JK bumper for the rear. the white MJ is a image off google, i plan on trimming my rear bedsides the same way, its rusty in that area anyway👍
  16. sounds about right, but there should also be a heavy ground to the engine block itself in the general area behind\inbetween the AC compressor and alternator.
  17. maybe to correct caster angle on the alignment
  18. so today was a biggie, i finally aquired a very hard to find OR-fab tubular front MJ\XJ bumper. ive wanted one of these for a very long time, gotta thank my buddy Dom Stacks who i traded some parts and cash for. I'm so stoked to put this bumper on 10BEARS👍
  19. I'm running Core4x4 short arms on my XJ, super beefy, and awesome weld quality👍
  20. Ford 8.8 explorer rear diffs are the same bolt pattern as the MJ\XJ 5x4.5 so you get to keep stock Jeep wheels, comes with disc brakes, either a 373 or 410 gear and usually a LSD, and much like an LS are cheap and plentiful, but all the swap parts and labor will nickle and dime you to death but they are tough as nails. the later 8.25 have 29 spline axles and are plenty strong too.
  21. First immediate suspects are non adjustable stock track bar, stock control arm bushings, then ball joints, then tie rods, and hub unit bearings. yes youll want 7-8°+ caster for 31" tires or larger. death wobble is usually caused by neglected maintenance items in the front suspension.
  22. sorry Pete it won't let me post the actual link
  23. is this what i need? https://www.ebay.com
