  1. they go for 20-30$ each on Ebay
  2. man, ive been gone for a bit. youve been busy on this thing! looking really good
  3. the black center caps are whats really hard to find.
  4. i also installed new hatch shocks too, this is usually the first thing i do on any car i buy that has them because bumping your head is not fun
  5. here is the TJ driving light install. this is temporary until its lifted and i install the ORfab tube bumper i have for the front
  6. here's the XJ country trim level woodgrain dash, i also added factory 2 switch bezel next to the steering column where it was originally a single switch. all the faded factory switches will be replaced with new Carling style switches as i add lockers, lights etc.
  7. well i traded my 10 Bears Comanche for an XJ trail rig. and after seeing it in my drivway for awhile was not happy with it. The previous owner cut a rustfree 88 2dr for tire clearance. so i sold all 3 of my XJs, the 88 2dr, 87 2dr, and 2000 4 dr, and was Jeepless for about a week. i finally found a southern rustfree 2 door pre 97 XJ in moss green pearl with light tan interior and an automatic trans!!!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜. iv wanted this combo for a long time, i had given up finding one when i bought the 10 Bears Comanche. So here is my new project along with the first couple mods ive done so far. i swapped in my country woodgrain dash bezel, and i installed some long forgotten TJ wrangler Hella driving lights off an LJ i owned 10 years ago. soldered the wires to the factory harness and viola! they work! i installed 2 way switchback LED bulbs i found on Ebay. i love it so far, i still have all the parts i stockpilef for the comanche so next is the new 4.5" Zone\Rusty's hybrid lift ive put together with Fox2.0 IPF shocks and Rustys off road front lower arms and rear leafs. i have Comanche eliminator wheels ill be running with some good used 31-10.5-15 BFG a\t's to start and if theres room, 33s or 35s down the road. but i will not remove the flares or cut this jeep. ok so here is Elenor
  8. slow learner, lol. kinda funny i just bought a pair on Ebay yesterday for 30$ used but good shape.
  9. well, for now I'm no longer a Comanche owner๐Ÿ˜ž. 10BEARS has been traded for what i call a unicorn XJ, a running 88 factory towing pkg, dana44 rear and optional towing mirrors, not a big feal on a MJ, but very rare on a XJ. i will own another MJ, unfortunately this one became to much work for my age and health. i did tell the new owner to join Comanche Club though so hopefully he will
  10. well, crappy day today. went to start the truck today its been roughly a month and a half since i did that last. truck is a hard start after sitting but eventually fires up, i notice the valve train is noisy, i look at the oil guage, zero pressure. checked the dpstick, its full. i let it run another 20-25 seconds, no improvement. so i shut it off. has this ever happened to anyone here?. this sucks man. last time it ran and drove totally normal, no issues. This might be the nail in the coffin of project 10bears
  11. Rusty's off road also makes short arms bent in for tire clearance for use with stock wheels๐Ÿ‘
  12. id prefer the larger one with "Jeep" scipt instead of AMX, also to fit 10 hole Eliminators
  13. thank you santa dad!!!! got my self a couple thangs๐Ÿ‘
  14. id really be interested in white onrs so i can add red and blue like these
  15. my opinion on add-a-leafs getting a bad rap about ride quality is this, its probably a combination of the short leaf pieces and poor shackle angle. Rusty's makes a full length add a leaf, and so does Rough country, I'm betting these ride much better especially if the rear shackle angle is 45ยฐ
  16. Posting this on its own so its easily searchable. so, will a 8" Bazooka tube fit in a Comanche? I asked this question, and no one was sure, the answer is yes. this is a loose test fit just to see if it will work or if I'm re listing it for sale on FB marketplace, looks like its a keeper. hope this will help future comanche owners figure things out. this is a RS8, so it already has a built in 150w RMS amplifier, i had the exact same one in my LJ years ago. if youve never heard one of these, they put out really clean, hard hitting bass for the package, plenty for the small cab of a Comanche. i also found in my personal stash a set of 4x6 Infinity plate speakers that will be replacing the factory rear speakers. more to come, as ill be installing 6x9s in the doors with rectangle speaker grills which will mimic the factory Jensen speaker grills and theyll be SEM interior painted to match the light tan interior, i even have the Jensen badges from the stock grills that will be put on the larger 6x9 grills to help them blend in even better. and looking at the enclosure behind the seat, i may also paint that with the SEM light tan interior paint too.

  18. i like that Bolens with the tiller on the back๐Ÿ‘. I'm really digging the 782, I'm mowing with it tomorrow, i have 3 JDs too 316, a 214, and a 210.
  19. lol, i was really wanting a usable set of mud flaps.
  20. feels good to get a victory don't it? nice work!
  21. i think that 2 door XJ rear flares may be the same as an MJ rears?
  22. they came out great though, and I'm sure the factory Jeep seats are better quality than the aftermaket ones. nice work man๐Ÿ‘
  23. get a ZJ armrest for your XJ, rear cupholders built in๐Ÿ˜, slight modification for install, not a big deal.
  24. post a pic of the MJ ones, ive never seen any
