  1. i just got the same bedliner from Pete M.๐Ÿ‘
  2. This is a really interesting and enlightening video series (4 vids) i learned the real reason why 4.0s have problems with cylinders 4,5,&6 and headgaskets, and why running them a little cooler may help, and definately a high flowing water pump
  3. thanks for the cool Pendaliner bedliner my freind๐Ÿ‘
  4. so i just want to send out a big thank you to a fellow Comanche brother, Gojira94 for letting me have these super cool bitchin' tool boxes which will be used for recovery gear. he only charged me shipping cost, and I'm very thankful to him. thank you Sir, i really really appreciate it. i just added 8 cup holders to my MJ๐Ÿ‘
  5. yeah i think the older CJ-YJ roll bars are actually functional, the newer wranglers are not, and say so in the owners manual. theyre just a attachment point for the seat belts๐Ÿ‘
  6. that is super cool, width looks perfect and thats what i was wondering about. you could even shorten them for a roof top tent. i love under paying for stuff and re-purposeing at the same time๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ thanks for posting the cool pics
  7. glad to see you got back out on the trails, great video๐Ÿ‘
  8. thats for sale right now it was just listed either on here, or FB
  9. oh I'm all about looking cool and impressing the ladies. yeah just basically for looks. i really like the tubular roof rack JCR makes for Manches, but I'm a cheap bastard too so theres that, lol
  10. the bumpers are pretty much the same over the years. these are JK fogs i got for $15 bucks off craigslist locally, i used plastic spacers with stainless screws and nylock nuts to bolt to the bumper. i tried a 4" hole saw but it was difficult and making a mess, a jig saw with a blade for metal cut much easier, then i used a 3" sanding cylinder on a drill to sand the openings as close to round as i could. i used 2 color LED bulbs, white and yellow. Turn them on and they are white like the headlights, turn em off, then back on and theyre yellow. still need to bodywork and repaint the bumper. i used the stock fog light wiring and switch, and soldered on weather proof connectors.
  11. you can still see Fred and Dave on youtube for free, Dirthead shed is Daves channel, and 4xFredWilliams is Freds channel. go subcribe to thier channels and show your support. also Ian on the Bigtiregarage channel is back and ready to resume his Comanche build.
  12. anyone ever done it? Obviously not a bolt in deal, but looks doable with a little fab work, theres a local guy with a surplus of nice CJ roll bars, 20$ each. its got me thinking...
  13. if you still have these, I'm still want them, how do we workoutvpayment?
  14. so i just got 15.00$ off a Comanche Club hoodie off amazon and the only thing i had to do was upload a few photos to the Amazon app that i downloaded on my phone. i picked 4 pics that mean nothing to me and uplaoded them to thier free storage. 15$ off the hoodie basically for free. so if you get a email from amazon to about this, do it.
  15. possibly Australia? thats a guess lol
  16. just hunt on marketplace, thats what i did. most of the youtube vids involve painting the dash with shiny paint. i got a nice non cracked dash out of a 96 cherokee for less than 100$ bucks. ill be using SEM interior paint in mine to insure theyre all the same color, I'm color changeing from grey, to light tan. Comanche parts cost more than Cherokee parts but theyre the same parts.๐Ÿ‘
  17. i think theyd be really handy to keep recovery gear in. i usually only buy stuff online through Ebay or manfacturer direct. so how do i pay you for them?
  18. lets see em, ive got one I'm wanting to polish after doing the Cruiser 54 mods to it.
  19. he spent the money on a good Fel-pro gasket, and then exceed his ability when it came time to install it, lmao.
  20. skyjacker has been around for over 40 years, id say thats pretty reputable, lol. Theres a thick bright gold bracket in the photo that re-enforces the stock axle side bracketry, the stock brackets are all the same thickness metal from the factory for the stableizer and the UTA factory trackbar so I'm confident in Dana's engineers that that bracket with re-enforcement will be totally fine, so confident that i still havent decided if I'm running 33s or 35s yet, lol. either way ill be fine. you want a welded OTA track bar on yours, great, have at it. this is what I'm running on my jeep.
  21. or just use a Rusty's off road double shear bracket like i said i was using earlier๐Ÿ‘.
  22. no psuedo about it the axle side mount is above the axle. heim on the frame side, poly bushing on the axle side.
  23. I'm also using a heavy duty Rusty's off road double shear bracket on the frame side. ill a!lso be running Steinjager "1 ton" steering
  24. correct, the bracket is gold\zinc coated in the photo, so it actually stabilizes the thin metal stabalizer bracket, which is the same thickness as the lower track bar bracket. on the frame side I'm using a Rusty's heavy duty double shear bracket
