good to see a young guy into Jeeps appreciating the classics, and his welding skills are ridiculously good, that little D30 truss and C braces were pretty nice. ive been subscribed to his channel since he started it, theres XJ content also and other interesting stuff on there too, not just MJ stuff.

so i picked up another pair of rust free fenders today. i didnt need them, but for $25.00 for the pair i couldnt pass them up. Ill just keep them for spares. plus 1 of them has an original mopar Jeep mud flap, i was bummed the guy didnt have the other mud flap, theyre like gold nowadays. oh well, now i just need the other 3😁

Great info, thank you. i figured from a few videos ive seen that the seat swap wouldnt be too difficult. i also planned on re-enforcing the rear seat mounts also, a previous owner installed new floors in mine which is why plan on using square tube, or the XJ pieces for the front seat mounts. do you have a build thread on the truck you pictured that i can follow? i also have a set of cloth seats like yours in the darker grey👍

so I'm always looking at MJs and XJs for sale. right now on FB marketplace there are no less than 40 for sale within driving distance. what the heck is going on?? lol usually its like 3 or 4 comanches for sale. if youre looking to buy a truck now is the time. I'm just north of Detroit, but i use Elsie Michigan as my search location, so i don't get too many Canadian listings.

Alpine is all i ever run, i like my sounds man I'm a 80 child lol👍 i have a super rare CDA-D855 in my XJ and i have a bunch of Alpine head units ive collected over the years. i want to run a 8" bazooka tube in my comanche, i gotta get my seats in it to see if it will fit behind one of the seats though, otherwise i may do some 6 x9 boxes like yours. are yours vented or sealed?

well if youre lucky enough to score a MJ, or XJ dana 44 youll notice right way that the drum brakes are much bigger than the Dana35, or the CH8.25. if youre intimidated by drum brakes don't be. they have more parts yes, but properly adjusted they work just as well as rear discs. Brakes arent "fun" work like lifts, or new shocks etc. so i have professionals do my brake work and alignments, and i do everything else👍

looking good, what head unit are you using?

power supply cords for cable tv boxes, direct TV. etc generally take 110v AC and step it down to 12-14 volts DC. theyll have a sticker on them telling you its function. you might be able to use one to power the lights in a header panel. its a cool idea. ive thought about it actually, i think i have 4 or 5 header panels now😁
