just talk to all your neighbors. let them all know and to be on the look out for anyone suspicious. neighbors watching out for neighbors is a good defense

The pressure on the sidewall is the maximum pressure, not the recommended pressure. understood but my maxima's 17s max is 44. so i run 44. i drive that car like a race car DAILY and handling/comfort are great. even wear, everything. same for my altima. i run what is says on the tire as max and it drives great too. for my trucks i run at least 10 lower than the max pressure. even wear, good handling, good mileage. going TOO low will hurt not help your ride but again everybody has their own spin on things

$#!&. if i had a hair more money id go pick up both of those!
-
yup. if that doesnt work you know somebodies about to get hurt
-
you really are a comanche freak. i love mine but damn! :shake: all that gas money and time you spend on MORE mj stuff could be put into actually having all your Mjs run! can't blame you though. they are cool as $#!&

says on the side of my 31 km2 50 psi max so i run at 40. 18 psi for rock crawling. my car tires i run whatever it says on the tire. even wear, great gas mileage.

dents i wouldnt worry about but the bad bondo id fix. bedsides are your call. everybody has different preferences. me, i wouldnt do it. maybe the front yeah sure, maybe but the whole thing? nahhh. unless your sticking to baja or about to go all out like Zone. i wouldnt mess with it. i mean dents are just awsome stories for the campfire

Rock krawler bomb proof bar. it even costs ten bucks less than that one through Motion Offroad.
-
yeah thats true. sand, mud and not all rocky roads are huge boulders. I'm just thinking about the stuff i do in mine :D and ive been following the whole deal comanche club has had with it

my first thought. i wonder how the "driving in the rain" issue would be handled though? i suppose theres nothing right there that wouldnt care getting wet but still. thats one sweet looking truck. I'm not a fan of the moldings but it does give it that character. if it wasnt a mall crawler they'd be ripped off/broken on the first trail ride

:agree: Had mine installed in 03 and still working fine w. no issues. But it's kind of useless now with the camper shell installed. :( i had no idea your Mj was a lwb. yes i know its in your sig but still! seeing is believing i guess for some reason i just can't bring myself to get a four piece slider. I'm holding out for the JY score 3 piece i guess but those four piece just don't sit right with me :dunno:

more snow down south last night/today. i don't know whats going on with it but i like it this morning of course though its not sticking around :fs2:

hey check out the new Petersens 4wheel and offroad. theres a few good shots of the comanches. page 42
-
hmm. i might go look at it then. if its in decent shape body wise i might just grab it. it'd be nice to have a backup/project comanche to fool with. thanks

even a 4.0 in place of the 4 banger?
-
a buddy of mines uncle has a Mj that he'll sale me. its 88 4 banger 5 speed. everything is toast but the tcase and the axles. now i was going to swap 4.0 aw4 (or something of the like) in but arent the motor mounts and firewall different in 4 bangers? would i have to mod anything? if its a straight swap ill get it but if not i might let this one go.

$#!& happens. Motion is an decent company. well thats all i can say nice so enough said :rotf: :rotf: jkjk seriously always check with the manufacturer first then go out and see if you can find a better price. direct from the manufacturer shipping wait would be non-exsistant. unless they have to make more. i used to search forever for the best deals but more times then not its the same cost to buy direct. so i just go to the company first. that way if anything goes wrong i talk to the them NOT a secondary comapny
-
yup if you don't have adjustable CAs id be getting those too. like others said I'm sure those front springs are worn and with the weight of the winch bumper dropping it down even more. I'm thinking youll be happy with 6.5 up front and with the overall stance. i need to get off my @$$ and do my SOA can't wait to see the finished product man
-
yea it sucks but we can't save them all. there was one in a JY down here that was barely messed up. i got what i could off it and a few days later went back to buy it but it was already crushed. you know what to grab, so grab it! including the vin!

mmmmmmmm night wheeling made easy i only ran 6 lights because it was the bare minimum i need. ive got several left and ill probably throw 2 more up front and 2 down the sides. these are super small LEDs and very worth the time to install. ill be buying more for sure link to lights http://www.oznium.com/prewired-superflux
