ive got the flowmaster super 40 and i love the crawl tones i get. i still have the factory cat with a turndown 6" after the flow and driving/idle its not loud at all. gives a pretty nice tone to me. kind of deep but not V8 deep

Slayer, Pantera stickers. yeah, you'll probably find a few roaches in there. that or a bunch of burn holes. maybe both! :rotf: :rotf:

$#!&, whats next!?! go wheel that thing man! seriously! I'm about to do my spring over and after seeing what my 4.5 long arm/spring under can do, i know 6.5 should be insane. good build

:agree: you beat me to it! ive got a cover from a 96 i believe it was. way worth the time and money to do it. you have to get all the tubes with the new cover and the bolt that screws into the manifold on the end of one of the hoses. get the newer style gasket and install.

mmmm front shocks

i actually use this as my secondary forum to my local jeep clubs page. i actually know the guys there and get answered a hell of a lot quicker there then here with problems. we just need more people buying Mjs instead of hoarding them all for ourselves! this forum is just to get my comanche fix on :chillin:

well you've got nothing to look forward to now and people will more than likely still treat you as a kid. to me it seems mid/late 20s is when people actually start looking at you as an adult. turning 21 wasnt a huge milestone for me. i drank way before then and went in bars. so it was just another day but at least i could gamble :brows: damn didnt mean to bring you down :rotf: go get tore up man! easy answer there

down here theres no issue getting an axle out. take off wheels, undo supension/driveshaft, let axle hit ground. done. do they not put the cars up on 4 rims so the axles droop or rest on the wheels up there?

ill have to agree with the harshness thing. he's a new member (or so i gathered) and we're already making him hate us as an MJ community. sure he half @$$ listened, oh well. its his MJ. yes i agree its completely retarded to just go diving into deep water but again its his truck. you guys did the right thing by telling him what to do. thats enough right there. don't brow beat him and make yourselfs look bad.

ive learned its best to just stay out of deep water. after this, you should too :D

thats pretty cool man. i didnt expect to see that when i read the title.

I have had no issues with the one, so I am not sure how I feel about them right now. I am leaning towards your opinion of them . . . i have had zero issues with the seals and ive been running them for a long time. i steel wooled the inside of the tubes and used acetone on it. the instructions (iirc) are pretty good with the USA alloy ones. its important to let them cure 24 hours

added three more rock lights. two more up front pointing at the d30/ground and one above the 35 under the bed so people behind me can watch my flexiness :brows:

found some just like your 5150s and some again that will work in 5165. ive got few questions for you. did you have enough room for the crossflow reservoir in the tire well? i know the one on the 5165 is a bit bigger but i guess i can mount it up towards the front bumper if not. also what rear shocks did you get? I'm thinking more than likely ill get 5150s for the back with lower valving as Backdraft said. are you running 4wd or 2wd springs?
-
after looking on the website i didnt see anything that matched up to my specs but the 5160/5165. all the others were to short but clearly since both of you are running them i must be missing something. as for compression/rebound. would i want them higher or lower because thats the only difference between thes ones ive found. ones 700/2550 and the other is 575/1600

alright I'm looking to buy new shocks. the rock krawler website says 19" compressed and 31" extended for 6.5 long arm lift. now ive got the JKS shock conversion mount so that takes it down an 1.10". so that'd be 17+change and still 31" down. ive found a few bilstein ones with the right specs (or close enough) but which series would work best for me. the 5150, 5165? what about the compression/rebound rates? :help:
