  1. waoh, i never said anything about going fast in my jeep. i don't, period. i do 65 on the interstate, IF i even get on there. that was a 96 zj iirc with a 4.0. i was amazed it went that fast! i was just commenting on Robs post
  2. i know its probably not the most insane thing on the video but that skier at 2:25 is sick as hell to me. so smooth, so smooth.
  3. haha! ive had my buddies grand over 120 to where the speedo was almost touching the orange line where odometer is. funny as hell. it was shaking so violently and he was freaking out telling me, "don't you think we should slow down?".. and it was HIS zj! :rotf:
  4. I'm gonna go on and say it. precision u-joints from napa seem to hold up good. part number PUJ-371. lifetime warranty.
  5. nice. i didnt want to use a sawzall because its too violent for me. if you can get a good cut going sure but forget that. a cutoff wheel makes a pretty cut and where you want it. either way you got it done though  whats up with that drivers leaf spring? or is the picture playing tricks?
  6. oh yeah. ive needed a rear bumper for a long time and this step alone will help a ton later. ive got hook ups on steel already i just need to get off my @$$ and start
  7. a long @$$ time later and i finally cut em. a tree got me again and busted my tail light and crunched in the tail light area. cutting them is just making it easier to fix it. i just did the "cut it" method instead of the "cut and fold". its still pretty firm, not flimsy at all.
  8. I just wanted to let anyone near by know that on April 20-22 a huge group of people will be wheeling at Superlift ORV in Hot Springs. Its a good time. We have people from all over come down for this. I was wanting to see some other Comanches there wheelin!!!

  14. LOL you did that old woman so dirty! but i guess its for the good of the Comanche :rotf: :rotf: :shake:
  15. BFH (big @#$%ing hammer) is all you need. i don't really remember doing mine but I'm pretty sure a hammer was used.
  16. hell i got around 16 highway and like 12 city with 3.55s and 31s. and its not hard to remove four bolts and disengage that front axle.
  17. .............................speechless. some people
  18. hell yeah. thats how you should do it. i remember i had one hub go out so i replaced about everything in the front axle at once. hubs, ball joints, u joints, axle shafts, axle tube seals, steering stab. and tie rod end. I'm sure theres more but not long after that a locker found a new home up there too. ive got bilstein 5160s ready to go in now its worth it to not have to mess with the front axle again for awhile
  19. ??? Ironman 1.25" without ends is $99.50 for XJ Rock Kralwer 1.25" without ends (RK02661XJ) is $99.00 (normal retail) for XJ yup. i actually went and checked that out myself after posting. honestly just assumed with the recent price jump, it went up too.....what can you do :dunno:
  20. lol. when i look at that pic (havent seen the movie) I'm looking at the truck. its like it has the right amount of "used" look with the sexiness that is MJ. halle on the other hand isnt really doing it for me in that shot......or in general for that matter...well, maybe as cat woman :D
  21. it probably wouldnt of hurt to grab that non-dummy light gauge cluster too since its a plug and play with older style speedos. even if you don't need it, someone here or on ebay does
  22. damn now those ironman tie rods are beef!!! same cold rolled steel set up as Rock Krawler and cheaper too! whats going on there
  23. ^^^^ i don't know.....i think the Comanche looks way better then Halle berry :peek:
  24. just grab the seat brackets. xj seats will work on them IIRC. plus those rear leafs would be good for someone going SOA. get the perfect ride height :chillin: the tailgate looks like itd be an easy grab too i don't know what phone you use but it took my iphone a few seconds to adjust really good on the vins.
  25. seems like a decent deal. why not just grab a ZJ V8 tie rod from the junkyard? probably 30 bucks tops. i gave 20 for the tie rod and drag link.
