  1. If you get desperate, DeadJeep sells them for like $130 and will probably take a month to ship.
  2. Drove around on the AX-15 for a day and HOLY COW what a crapshoot. So many problems. So, the solution? Rebuild my first transmission! Took a couple of hours but it's disassembled. Ordering parts now and will figure it out next week. Sucks to be missing the MJ takeover, but I'm just not comfortable driving 4 hours with this thing in its current state.
  3. Maybe I'm just practical the truck stops and that's good enough for me lol
  4. I just put one one the tip and sent it. No leaks when depressing clutch
  5. Anyone have a photo of how the External SC side should be? It came with 1, the hydraulic hose came with 2, and the MC came with 1 that I used on that side of the fitting. The ones the hose came with are kinda large and wouldn't fit the MC.
  6. I misread your initial post. You said "axle over spring" and my brain said "spring over axle". You either get shims or re-weld.
  7. Junkyard is your best bet for factory bent lines. Better to buy new lines and bend them though. A bender is less than $15. You'll need to flare them too.
  8. Much better. A bit inverted still for ideal operation. A nice pothole could potentially invert that. The other side looks better. Your springs should be longer in the rear. Settling won't fix that pinion angle. For the most part, your perch position dictates that. Like I said earlier, if you swapped the axle to SUA without positioning the leaf springs first then that will lead to your problem.
  9. He just got back and said he did something like the last pic I posted. He put something between the frame and spring to keep the shackle from inverting while he jacked up the spring to flatten.
  10. DS = Driveshaft Did you put new perches on the axle? You said it was SOA from the PO. Curious because of the pinion angle.
  11. If you pump the brakes with the motor off does it build pressure?
  12. This project has become the "I forgot to order that" mecca. So I installed everything over the weekend but forgot the MC and line. MC will be here today, but the line won't until Thursday. Really trying to make the MJ Takeover! Anyway. I swapped the input shaft of the TC and input bearing from BD50-8 to the 6010N 16mm and seems to have fit everything just fine. Had to swap the shifter stick from the AX4 assy to the AX15 base because of the angle. Basically held upright in a vise and torched the base until the rubber melted. Then a pry bar worked with some patience. Jack is under because tapping the new Xmember holes went too easy and I don't trust them yet lol
  13. Good to know. I had the guy measure his and he said 26" & 31" (57") Which is stock. So a whole inch longer maybe lol.
  14. Still waiting on his response, but I'll share some pics that he posted to get you an idea of finished product. Still not completely sold on the shackle angle. There will be settling, but as @ghetdjc320 said it won't be a lot. I'm going to ask just because it hasn't been yet. Are you installing with the DS and Shocks removed? Installed Wrong: Installed Right: Someone did this to get theirs sitting right. Not sure how I feel yet lol:
  15. Someone just had this problem last week on one of the Facebook groups. Turned out to be user error but he didn't share the solution. I just messaged him and I'll let you know what he says. The Rusty's are the correct size, and the main leaf is not longer than stock. Confirmed with measurements along the leaf.
  16. Well, I talked to Steve at Allstate Gear and he said the 6010N bearing should swap no problem. For $16 it's worth a shot so I ordered it this morning.
  17. Update: I measured wrong on my TC and ordered the shaft for a 16mm bearing. I have a 24mm bearing. Can I just swap the 24mm bearing for the 16mm no problem? I've already removed the 24mm. Sounds like 95+ have the 16mm and the early had 24, but I don't know if the case itself is different. w/ 24mm w/ 16mm
  18. Contemplated it myself. An old Chevy dually axle will fit right under the MJ. He said he sold the kit to a member here, but I haven't found anything about them. Wish we could get them to make a mold...
  19. Thanks. Ran to AutoZone and rented a puller. I have a bearing installer kit already. Just user error.
  20. I thought it was straight before taking the first swing. Tried to take a dowel and only hit the side that's stuck out more but no luck. What is the best way to correct this? Do I just need to buy a puller and try to remove/start over? Not doing bread because it took 2 weeks for the bearing to get here and I really don't want to wait another two weeks for a new one just because I used bread...
  21. Could be breather hose as mentioned. Does the white "connector" look like this? Photos would help.
  22. Sounds like either vacuum lines for the transfer case which go on the back or the breather lines for both the trans and transfer case that go on the top of each.
  23. Very Jealous! Wish I were closer than 5.5hrs or I would've gotten it so fast.
  24. That's a good theory. They seem to collect more and more vehicles & trailers as the weeks go by. But sometimes you gotta risk it for the biscuit. And in this case that biscuit is a rear bumper that looks like it could haul a Panzer. In person it just looks like a solid beam lol
  25. Was walking the dog about a mile from the house and spotted a gem. Went home and looked on Google Earth and it's been there for about 10 years! Doesn't look overly rusty either. They have "No Trespassing" signs so might keep my distance. Might put a note in the mailbox, and if you're the government I'm not putting anything in their mailbox...
