What radiator is in my Jeep?
JOMJ87 replied to BARILLMS's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Sounds like the 2.5 rad to me not the 4.0. You may want to look into and upgrade or prepare for overheating if it is can you post a pic?? Cole -
You should be able to use your bellhousing or the wrangler one from what I have seen. As far as the slave cylinder I don't know what a 94 would have but if you take a look at yours and then go compare it pretty easy to see (its on the Pass Side) if a brakeline looking tube sticks out that side Its internal. There may be easier ways to tell but thats what I look for. And the spline count from the tranny into the motor should aslso be the same. Hope this helps. Cole

our AX-4 shifter will fit the AX-5 only diff is the nob saying 4 instead of 5. Cole

Ok check this thread out and have a laugh...Look on the second page at the screenshot of the desktop near the bottom. Make sure to read the first page to get the full effect. Cole http://www.serboard.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7285&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

I vote for Flat black or a charcoal grey...I almost did the dark grey before I did the OD but to many people wanted me to do it like an old M-series so I went green. Cole

Freeroknok's pic is very similar to what I have. I can get pics if you still want but its the same. I don't know the part number but I do know that here at my Advance they sell them over near the ricer parts and over at the Big engine parts out on the floor. Youu should be able to find it pretty simple. Here is what I found on the website I had to make up a vehicle with a big simple motor to find it but this is alot like what I have. http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail.aspx?categorycode=5001&mfrcode=KNN&mfrpartnumber=621495 Let me know if you need any more help. Cole

No not really I bought the higher dollar one so the element in it catches pretty much all of it. I also wash it out alot so it don't build up then push it all over. But for me I leak oil from every crack and creavace so I don't worry that much but it does seem to keep it from blowing all over. Cole

Well thats great I love EOD and should have been one for the AF. I am a Chemical warfare instructor and do the detection for CBRN threats and stuff. Kinda like your chemical core guys do. My carreer field and the EOD guys have a great relationship so we hang out alot together. Good luck with retirement I still have around 18 years till I can say "just a few more months". BTW you have a clean looking MJ from the avatar you have any big ones. Cole

Well I'm not sure about the other questions but I have a suggestion...You can by small air filters at advance that go in the top of the valve cover and then you eliminate the hose completely. I can takre pics of mine if you like. Cole
-
Great find and welcome. And by the way you still EOD in the army as your screenname suggests?? I am in the AF just so you know why I am asking. Cole

F/R but soon to not have the rear if someone wants it....I hate having it on the street so Ill put the money I make from it to get an 8.8 with LSD for now till I go to My true desire of full case lockers and a 9" rear and something nice up front to match with mid 5 gears so I CAN use 5th. Cole

86 firewall isnt to nice for excepting 4.0s (IIRC) but the 4x4 swap would be simple with a good donor. I have a 4 banger and its not to bad with the right gears and such and plus its hard to find a MJ with a good body so I say go for it. Cole
-
Jeepthing07 Looks great. I was wandering how you did your corners of the body?? It looks like you cut them flush and plated them. Makes the bumper ride nice and snug. Cole
-
