I just got mine from JEGS two weeks ago. They are the MOPAR perches and run 12.99 a pair. S + H was 4.99 =$17.98. They are very solid and heavy. I should be having them mounted in a couple weeks when I swap in the D44.

When I swapped mine, the output shaft on the AX15 was larger in diameter the the Peugeot so a different driveshaft or yolk might be needed. P.S. I grew up in Essex Jct. Have a Michigan Dog from Beensie's for me when they set up at Battery Park.

:cry: I am having some concrete work done in my backyard in a few days. The contractor calls me early this morning and says one of his workers is looking for a truck and he remembers me stating the future sale of my 4 cyl Comanche. He pleads with me to let his worker come see it. Worker ( Adan ) shows up. Looks at truck for 5 minutes. Buys truck. I've owned that MJ for over 9 years and am very sad to see it go but the money will help fund the 88 project. I told Adan about CC and he seemed interested. Congratulations Adan and farewell 89 Comanche!

When I took the 88 in for smog testing so i could register it in my name, the shop owner tested it before attempting to adjust anything and it failed as a Gross Polluter in the CA system. Thanks a lot Brian!! So now I guess I get to look forward to bi-annual testing as well. :wall: P.S. If you still have those factory tow hooks, let me know. Mark

It seems most I.D. online are 3" as opposed to 2 3/4". Do I need to hunt around for the 2 3/4" or is 3" functional on the D44?

My under-hood light has the big, roundish box that I've learned is a retractable line extension for the bulb. The light won't work even though there is current going into the box and I inserted a new bulb. What is inside that box that would prevent the bulb from lighting? Is it a bad gravity switch? I'm hoping to not having to open it up and fight for my life with the internals, like Akula69 described in DIY.

Can some direct me to or provide me with the correct U bolt size for the leaf plate on a Dana 44 SUA standard leafs set-up? I'm getting ready to swap over and want all the right parts on hand. Also, recommended place to buy the full set??
