  1. Ok, just got them in and it looks like these will work for the plugs with a little SEM paint. https://www.mcmaster.com/standard-cap-plugs/plastic-snap-in-panel-plugs/ Oddly enough, the A pillar trim is a bit smaller id/od - part # 9688K43 B pillar has a little larger id/od on the button by 1mm-ish, because Renault reasons I guess - part # 9688K241 ...if anyone finds this thread and needs some I have aprox. 75 of each that I can send out rather than spend any of us having to spend the $20 for OEM on ebay lol. Figure the weight of 6 or so plastic plugs won't cost more than the price of a stamp.
  2. Going to try and dig through this too: https://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Chrysler-Jeep-Clips-Fasteners-Retainers-s/66.htm?searching=Y&sort=13&cat=66&show=450&page=1
  3. Oh, I like the McMaster idea. Looks like they have them, just have to figure out the right id/od. eBay fools have them for $20-$30 for 4. McMaster looks like they have 100 packs for around $10. https://www.mcmaster.com/standard-cap-plugs/plastic-snap-in-panel-plugs/
  4. I haven't been able to find a good source for the interior screw hole button covers. I have plenty of SEM paint to color match so I'm not that picky on color.
  5. https://www.ebay.com/itm/115437677598?hash=item1ae09f2c1e:g:sNgAAOSwgQFis2Uk Missing the clip and has two small holes in the frame. Not too bad for $235 shipped.
  6. Mine took a little longer than that....and they told me multiple times "it'll ship next week" ya right
  7. Ya might as well order it now for Christmas delivery.
  8. Looks pretty clean. 61k on the clock.
  9. I run a '94 pump like that on my 2.5L. 2.5L pumps aren't nearly as available so it made sense from a longevity standpoint. I agree it's tight and the cap pushes into the air hose. You can put small rubber spacers under the airbox to give it a little more height. Just have to be mindful of hood clearance. The PO of my MJ had one installed at some point and I've been running it for 3 years myself with no issues.
  10. I'd steer clear of Dirtbound. I ordered a battery tray recently and it took 6 weeks and was only shipped after I talked to my CC company about investigating a charge back. When I placed my order their website said it was in stock and would ship in 5 days. When I called to check after a week I was told, "oh yeah, that'll ship next week". The website still said it was in stock at this point. Then two more weeks went by. I was concerned my order had gotten lost in the cracks so I emailed back and forth with their "CEO" a bit to find out what the hold up was. Rather than giving a level headed response he was argumentative and blamed COVID for everything. Still doesn't explain the multiple missed ship dates they provided though. I understand things take more these days but at least be honest to your customers about that. A little sketchy that they charge you 100% up front (NOT a pre-authorization) when listing a product is in stock AND they already know they're backordered 5+ weeks... I went and read back a couple years on their Google reviews and there it is...they've been terrible with shipping on time with plenty of people describing the exact experience I had, argumentative "CEO" and all. Using COVID as an excuse when you've always run your business haphazardly is in pretty bad taste if you ask me. Caveat emptor. Edit: just remembered. I left a one star review on their site and surprise, surprise. They don't have anything rated less than 3 stars on their site. I checked with the company that handles their reviews and guess what? They're allowed to "curate" what reviews they share! I'm not surprised but super sketchy nonetheless.
  11. I figured there was a 72.328% chance it was a scam site from the page design. I probably shouldn't have given them my CC# to hold this truck for me...
  12. 1988 JEEP COMANCHE LERADO "LIKE NEW" SURVIVOR WITH ONLY 15,459 ORIGINAL MILES If this is real THIS is what I'd consider a $20k example...or at least closer than any I've ever seen.
  13. Are people really paying $11k for MJ's with roached out paint like this one? Not exactly what I would consider "clean".
  14. I'll second Vice Grip Garage: https://www.youtube.com/c/ViceGripGarage/videos Funny, down to earth wholesome guy who obviously knows his stuff. Didn't see DiResta mentioned yet?: https://www.youtube.com/user/jimmydiresta He has a lot of various restoration videos but he's a old school YouTube maker that's done a lot to help out the newer channels. Odd Tinkering has a good amount of good restoration videos of various kinds: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCf_suVrG2dA5BTjJhNLwthQ If anyone likes furniture this guy knows a lot about restoring high quality American furniture: https://www.youtube.com/user/johnsonrestoration This Old House, nothing more needed to say: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUtWNBWbFL9We-cdXkiAuJA
  15. Starting to actually commit to a build style and the Beach Cruiser is the winner. Want to start it off right with a set or turbines. Let me know what you have and we can work it out from there. Thanks!
  16. Any advice? I've been meaning to do this for a while and will have some time coming up. I'm novice at soldering but have been taking the time to practice.
  17. I'm in for a set depending on price.
  18. I'm in for a pair if you're planning on selling them.
  19. I've seen this and it works really well. Think they use a high concentration of hydrogen peroxide + UV light.
  20. Good option is a 94+ aluminum valve cover. I had the same oil leak issue with the plastic cover. Once I traded it out for aluminum one off a '94 wrangler with the rubber felpro gasket it was gone.
  21. Oh, I'm sure they're not 100% clean. I definitely have plans to redo the interior and coat the floors after I clean them up.
  22. dang...like I needed another reason to put in a 4.0
