  1. You can cut down the 7' tail pipe to work with a 6' bed. Some have done it
  2. The d44 373 gears would be nice but I don't thing they would work for the mj 44 I have haha
  3. It looks like the antena cable
  4. I know someone is going to want this https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/347721688009646/?mibextid=dXMIcH
  5. You will have an easier time taking the whole bracket off. It's secured through the coil on bottom too
  6. Huh, that is interesting. I could be wrong but I don't think they were like that. Either way it does look like you will have to drill them out
  7. I believe mine was bolted to the bracket. I've never seen them riveted in
  8. Slow progress us still progress. Finally finished blasting the axle. Sure looks good now. Now it needs a rebuild and regear for my truck
  9. You can have the axle repaired. It's possible to retube the axle. I'm sure a shop would be better at it but still
  10. If you do let me know, my friends got a mustang ii and I'd be curious what you could find for it
  11. 91 was the first year of ho in the mj, it was wire driven at that point
  12. Sounds like dirty or our of adjustment neutral safety switch. You can remove and clean them up
  13. No problem! I did that in my zj once. Speedo stopped working and I didn't realize I has that gear clocked wrong haha
  14. Is the speedo gear in the tail housing of the trans or tcase clocked correctly?
  15. How fussy are you about chrome plated handles? I have a few but none perfect
  16. I mean.. they did. Walker used to make the y pipe for the mj. But it was discontinued. Probably not a great market for them. But you'd also be surprised how many people actually buy key parts panels and such. It's not the price that's the problem it's the amount of people who do and don't know about them. You'd be surprised how many people are not aware of these replacement parts still. A lot of people don't know you can now get new repop tail lights from them still
  17. In an s10 it might be similar, I think the s10 has a slight difference to the mj, but in the celebrity, fiero, etc. The exhaust is entirely different. One bank goes up and over the transmission
  18. Edelbrock is the only one that made an intake that would fit a 4bbl. They are very hard to find. Part number 3785 maybe you can get lucky on ebay. I have one I have been trying to make work but it's been a pita.
  19. Side note, I did more sandblasting today. Got half of it done. Just need to flip it and finish it
  20. Not at all Pete! I just like to try and do everything myself haha saves money and gives satisfaction. But I was feeling a tad bit overwhelmed.
  21. Another update on the truck! I spent about a half hour looking the truck over Saturday and decided I'm going to pull everything off and send it out to have the cab sandblasted. There's just a little too much rust for one person to tackle. So getting a place lined up for me. Booked out a month and a half jeez. Gives me some time to strip it out. The smaller parts, the hood, and the bed I'll be managing myself. Wiring harness is out, contemplating cleaning it up as some of the plugs are not needed. Drive train will come out along with interior. Right fender was removed. Bottom is rotted out sadly so I'll need to get a new one. and since I have to trip everything out I decided I'd get the rear axle ready for swap starting with a sandblasting. i got a 3rd the way through, turning out nicely and giving it a quick coat of rust reformer. I plan to epoxy and then rebuild. One step at a time.
