I feel if they're using other styling from past modern Jeeps, then it shouldn't bear 100K price tag. At least it should have the classic waggy front end, then I could justify the price tag.

Nice scores! Especially the AMC plate. As for the 4 wheel drive, AMC put those on 4x4 vehicles from 84-86 except the Eagle which got that nameplate all the way to 88.

Not sure if anyone has been following or watching the new "SJ" closely but the full body was revealed today and all I have to say is it looks like an Escalade.
-
Fun fact, The drivers side cap is the one I got from you that had that weird hole in it. Thanks!

Good replacement for Renix relay cover retainers

They actually look hell of a lot better than the old Renix clips. I just might get two of them tomorrow. -
Good replacement for Renix relay cover retainers

I thought about those damn things many many times and I always came to the conclusion that they would have to be greatly modified to fit. Glad I wasnt the only one who thought about those. -
Already PM's him. He told me the owner would like to keep the truck whole as a future project. Dislike it when people do that but its the junkyards.
-
I feel like that could be true and the owner opted out of being mentioned anywhere in their article.
-
Run wasn't the right word for me to use, I know all the years for the VIN's what I'm getting at is they mustve gone up to the truck and looked at the VIN to tell
-
Well yes on that technicality but 91-92 are distinguishable by the three piece grill set up.

Über excited to throw the bumper on! Now a little story. Now I know I’ve kept everyone in the dark on this project and to be frank I’m not incredibly proud of what I did. I spent weeks trying to figure out how to do the center support bracket. After fabbing the center support and reinforcing the mounting points my father suggested to me not to do a bar in case if the bumper suffers from dings and stuff like that. Without the center bar you can easily knock out that stuff without trying to remove the bar and re-weld it back in. So that’s what I’ve went ahead and done. Now I probably don’t trust my weld job enough to slide a ball through the center hole for towing but if I ever had to it probably wouldn’t last long unless I put a bar in. But at that point I’d get a repro hutch bar from Krusty. So that’s the story on the bumper. It’s for looks with some functionality but not a lot. I’ll figure something out with the bumper metal I have and fab something in my free time.

I kinda want to know what made them think its an 88. 88-90 are pretty identical with no distinguishing differences. Unless they got the VIN and ran it.

I have more books to add to this list. can't wait to have a dedicated Jeep book shelf. -
It doesnt. It is the Medium tank symbol from the game World of Tanks.

Lol. Thats a great movie. I only have the one pin on my tan pair. O2 number is:53002106. 4cyl, lol. Guess only 2.5L guys will have an interest in those.
-
Good question. When I was looking at them they had prongs on the back of them that look like they just go straight into the back of the seat. I’d say they would pull straight out but I can get some goodness pics of the NOS ones for ya!

https://1drv.ms/u/s!AiQ3QjzZaCUzkUW-VRkOpJW-2txh?e=2gPOty Watch the 12min one first. Couldnt figure out how to splice the two together. Enjoy the parts and my mug! Felt like I was rambling on at times.

Videos are uploading to the OneDrive. They are taking their sweet time uploading. I have not posted anything for sale yet. My new NOS for sale post will be updated with them later.
