  2. Big capacity gas tank upgraded completely. Went off without a hitch except for one 3 hour problem. One of the straps was fighting me on getting to the J-bolt. Kept fighting and using a jack for extra strength and got no where. Took the strap out, bent it some to get more length. Still nothing. So I gave up and decided to just swap the other end strap for the one that was giving issues and low and behold! It went in with no issues. Not sure why. Went and fired her up after I got everything in place including the skid plate and all I can say is the new Bosch pump I got a while back is pretty damn quiet! Pretty impressed. Now to start a build thread on my house and adventure!
  3. Oh there will be lol. I have an AMC Jeep flag to hang up.
  4. Just a couple for now. I’ll post the old ones before I post pics of the rooms painted.
  5. Indeed! Thanks wahoo! It was weird to be in snotsdale and knowing full well that your one of the only 80’s vehicles there. Aside from @CactusComancheof course. Come on down! Might have to charge an entry fee though just to service the plumbing system lol.
  6. Thanks man! It’s kinda exciting for the moment but it could change to stressful. Did find more small things wrong. Lol pretty much. I was willing to live anywhere(except Surprise, Avondale and Maryville) so long the house has a garage and three beds. I got lucky with this one with it having a pool. Thanks gents!
  7. Weird combo. Thank ya!
  8. Lol gladly. Just for warning y’all I’m not a beer person but I drink a metric ton of Dr. Pepper.
  9. All MJ owners are welcome! Lol.
  10. Thank Pete and don’t ya worry. There will be. Thank ya and I’m gonna need all I can get.
  11. Lol would’ve been more funny if he was round but still fun. My girlfriend is as well which is how my 84 XJ got his name.
  12. Yup! Lol was he a round dog?
  13. Thank ya! It really was timing! This house I bought was “destroyed” by the people renting it from the seller. So the seller was looking to sell. I threw and offer at them and I said I will take the house as is and they accepted it. It’s honestly not in that bad of shape and just needs some TLC. Gonna actually paint over the weekend before moving in. I will be sure to get plenty of pics. Might even post it as another project lol.
  14. Thank ya! She’s gonna be officially garaged at my new home, along side Chunk when I bring him down here in May.
  15. So I was out in snottsdale today for an hour and decide to take a picture and commemorate the moment. Back in late January early February I decided and was suggested to look for a house after looking at a place to rent. I wasn’t fully aware of what I was getting into but figured why not, especially with the girlfriend moving very soon, I knew I needed a place. Thankfully my parents were able to help and my long time best friends father is a realtor so I was able to work with him on finding a house. Long story short I found a house in late March and just finished signing the closing paper work this morning. I await for it to all be finalized and notarized by the state, in which I will get the keys to my new home this evening. So let the new adventures begin!!
  16. If it’s a manual trans I would be interested in everything in the bell house.
  17. Could have an AMC 20 out back with 4.10 as well. If it’s an auto it might have one of the two axles with 4.56 out back as well cause AMC used Chrysler’s A900 series torqflight trannys
  18. Classic. Just before the Chrysler buy out.
  19. Let me know and I will order them!
  20. So this is the deal with the UCA's. Course they are the same for the XJ all years. It looks like the ZJ TJ and XJ have similar looking UCA's but probably don't interchange or probably were all the same at one point if I had to guess. The LCA's are the same all years
  21. Let me look. I remember something weird about them when I ordered mine and I don't remember what that was.
  22. I feel ya on that. Which is why I ended up ordering new MoPar LCA's and UCA's lol. Course that doesnt mean that my uppers at the axle arent messed up. I know I had to really beat the hell out of the old sleeves for the axle bushing eyes when I had the poly bushings just to get them out. Come to think of it, I think I bent one of the eyes close to each other when pressing out a bushing.
  23. Hey, my control arms and the bushings move from time to time and I don't notice anything bad. I put new bushings in my old LCAs and the LCAs kept walking back towards the middle and I had to hammer them every once in a while back to where they needed to.
  24. I forgot to respond to this. You’re welcome!
