Pool itself is actually in great clear shape. Just has alot of leaves. My friend who used to work for a water park has helped me with it and shown me what to do but said we will need to replace some gaskets and such and see if that fixes the air intake problem. As far as history on it, I have no idea other than the previous people took care of it the best they could without spending any money.

Hey y'all! So you guys know I bought a house recently and it has a lovely top of the line pool from back in the day. Like the PPO's didnt skip out on the pool they had made. Anyways does anyone have any knowledge or spend time working on these? Perhaps anyone have any spare parts laying around? All I know is this set up has a triton II sand filter and it is in god awful shape and needs to be replaced. But the pump works fine but it seems the plumbing is deteriorating to the point where air gets in and stays good and primed for a whole hour before it gives up and takes on air. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated! Pic of the decerped system rotting away. Welcome to AZ!

Truck looks to have been repainted at some point. Note the Comanche badges at the body line. Some people are so damn lazy at making these things right.

NOS AMC Jeep Running boards (Aluminum)

They are when they’re made for the J-truck lol. Those won’t fit the MJ. They are too big. -
This. While it’s great to check the 2.5L system regulates it to 15psi at the throttle body. I would start doing an electrical diag with the fuel system.

Lol oh yeah. I discovered last night before my shower that I replaced what I thought was the hot water knob and broke the cold water knob to replace that only to learn that I broke the hot water and replaced the cold water knob lol.

Lol I might pull something from my old days of being in the Order of the Arrow.

Brick just needs attention. Nothin too serious. Started moving boxes of my stuff in. That being said, one of the trusses is actually splitting and needs to be reinforced. -

Thanks guys! Definitely looking forward to the fun. Now y’all have a place in AZ y’all are welcome to come to. -
There the front plate and the transfer case skid. Also it depends. Is your skid plastic or metal? I think the skid plate package is for the metal ones.

Thats a tempting idea. I have to replace the garage door first. Funny enough only the bathrooms and laundry room is tile. The rest is some sort of vinyl laminate. -
Not much to say really. I will be just posting the progress on my new home in this thread. I bought a home in March and closed on April 16, 2021, has a two car garage and a pool. I was more after a house with a garage but this one sort of fell into my lap and I was able to snag it in the already insane market. It is a fixer upper but honestly, I am willing and ready to learn. Now for some pics: Entry/living room:(these pics are not current) Laundry: Office/bedroom: Dining: Hall: Guest bath: 2nd bedroom: Master suite: All in all not as bad as the seller was making it out to be. I am happy with what I bought despite all its issues and quirks. Will move the pics of the garage and pool to here as well.

Big capacity gas tank upgraded completely. Went off without a hitch except for one 3 hour problem. One of the straps was fighting me on getting to the J-bolt. Kept fighting and using a jack for extra strength and got no where. Took the strap out, bent it some to get more length. Still nothing. So I gave up and decided to just swap the other end strap for the one that was giving issues and low and behold! It went in with no issues. Not sure why. Went and fired her up after I got everything in place including the skid plate and all I can say is the new Bosch pump I got a while back is pretty damn quiet! Pretty impressed. Now to start a build thread on my house and adventure!

Indeed! Thanks wahoo! It was weird to be in snotsdale and knowing full well that your one of the only 80’s vehicles there. Aside from @CactusComancheof course. Come on down! Might have to charge an entry fee though just to service the plumbing system lol.

Thanks man! It’s kinda exciting for the moment but it could change to stressful. Did find more small things wrong. Lol pretty much. I was willing to live anywhere(except Surprise, Avondale and Maryville) so long the house has a garage and three beds. I got lucky with this one with it having a pool. Thanks gents!
