Life........ Honestly at this point I feel like a plumber fixing busted pipes. Which one is leaking the most gets the attention. Needless to say if I was in a ship taking on water I'd be sunk. But in the plus side no boring days!

Another week, another new brew from Outerrange. Color book double IPA. Super tasty. Went and bought some more. Anywho cheers and happy Friday!

How you paint it will determine the amount of prep. If you are doing a 2 stage base and clear you'll need to have every dent fixed, no rust and make it as smooth as possible. If you are doing a bed liner type it's more forgiving because the texture and will hide imperfections.

Happy Friday!! Picked up a local brew from Vail. Blur hazy IPA, pretty solid. They actually do a ton of great beers. Had a few and never a bad one. Missing sipping a brew in the village......

Well got take the wins when they come. That is crazy she tested positive and beat it, good for her! I worked as a equipment person for a hospice company years ago. We had a handful of people that would get discharged off more often than you would think. It is just as you said they met the criteria get placed in care, some additional nursing, etc and either no longer qualify or keep deteriorating. I remember we had one lady that was on and off hospice for years.

Rubicon Wheels on MJ?

Tranny, t case, front axle and few other things (cross members, shifter, etc). Axles best years are 98-99 because of non cad, better u joints and 29 spline 8.25 (if you swap the rear which i would because of the turdy5). Tranny ax15 is going to be the best bet but more expensive and sometimes a little tougher to find ax5 works as well. Tcase either a 231 or 242.

Rubicon Wheels on MJ?
Smokeyyank replied to WahooSteeler's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I'm new to the interwebs...... I'm not a fan of the JK/JL wheels at all. IMHO the offset just looks ugly. (Not bashing the rest of the truck, I dig it, just wheels don't do it for me) Those performance wheels would look good. Old TJ rubi moab wheels look great. Probably the only stock wheel I'd run. -
Rubicon Wheels on MJ?

You thinking off this one? -
I guess a few things..... First, engine should be about 2.5-3k to rebuild with R&R. last one I had rebuilt on my XJ was 2k, but the guy I use has been good about giving me solid prices. 4.0s are cheap to rebuild and not difficult at all to pull. If you plan on swapping in all new accessories (stater, alternator, steering, etc) factor maybe another 5-700 for that. As for the rest why are you "replacing" the engine bay? No offense but that's a massive waste of cash. Unless they are going to swap in NOS parts from a 98 or 99 with a rebuild you're not coming out ahead.

Dana 44 rear axle
Smokeyyank replied to ComancheMadness's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Waggy has a 44. I have that in my current rig. Honestly at 33s though a 8.25 is the best choice IMHO. You can source the rest of the 4wd swap (assuming that's what you were doing) from a 98 to 99 Cherokee. You get the front and rear axle setup along with transfer case. All you would have to do for the rear axle is move the rear perchs spring under. Pretty easy to do if you have a buddy that's a welder. As for the cost to regear it can vary. If you're lucky enough to find someone local Jeep group that knows how to do it they might only charge you a couple hundred bucks for labor shop will be about double. Beyond that you'd have to add in a new carrier/traction device, gears and an install kit that include bearings. -
Just looks like a solid wax job might do the trick. I'm use chemical guys on my wife's gx 460 and my old X5. https://www.chemicalguys.com/exterior/detail-and-polish/cutting-and-polishing/ If not you may need to wet sand and build it back up. Doesnt seem that the clear is gone just lost its luster.

Cool thanks for the info -
I worked from home for a bit but returned to the office FT two weeks ago and it's been non stop madness ever since. Hospital OR's are booked through June already. Most of my team is back on site. Being in leadership it's hard to manage being remote
