  1. There’s a guy who makes vinyl decals for the jeep emblem on the tailgate so no paint necessary. Also, this is just my personally opinion, but I’d leave the stock front bumper on it. Stock height 2wd just doesn’t fit right to me. I’ve got nothing against an Offroad vehicle, but I have my Cherokee to beat up and molest and it’s 4wd so it’ll go better. 2wd and offroad just leaves something to be desired on the east coast. Out west you can huck 2wd trucks through the air, but in the east 2wd usually means sliding into a tree. Here’s a little roll bar action for you. I’ve kept mine stock minus drivetrain upgrades (still all in the jeep family), adding a rear swap bar, and putting some TJ wheels on it. These things are super fun to scoot around in and I’ve ran the autocross a few times with mine and had a blast. And here’s my beater.
  2. Well I clearly don’t know how to put windows in, it leaks. Also, on the note of not knowing how t put windows in, bleepinjeep put up a video of 1 piece window install so I got some manual 97+ regulators coming and I’m going to attempt to do the 97+ door windows. Doesn’t look awful Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Finding the right material is the key. I seem to remember seeing someone fix them on here, but now that I need it I can’t find it. That seems to be how it always works isn’t it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. You didn’t happen to have to fix the vent part itself like mine, did you? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Put a new rear window in today, and pulled the vents off finally because there is a terrible flapping sound when driving down the highway. I don’t know what to do now though. Obviously get some foam weather stripping of some sort to seal the vents better again, but any suggestions on the vents themselves? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Ford Ranger latch off of a 2000ish looking era. A little bigger than I would like, but it’ll work till I can find something better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Well that ain’t gonna work. I guess I’ll look at some other options. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I’ve seen these before, but where did you get them from? I don’t remember where they can be found. I have to twist my fuses to get decent contact. Also, how do those clip in? On my 99 Cherokee the stupid plastic tabs in the fuse box break if you look at them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. If you’re jealous of the clock I come across them all the time and could pull one and sell it to you or 88mjsally probably has a few. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Got some knock off trucklites for Christmas, and I have the legit trucklites in my Cherokee so I can do a comparison of them and see how much difference there is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I can’t decide what to do with the rear window. I have a solid pane, 4 pane, and 3 pane. I found a latch I think will work and ordered it. I know I don’t want the 4 pane (please someone buy it) and I like the fixed because it looks clean, it was what the truck came with, the sliders seem to have a lot more noise, I feel like there’s more chance to leak, and it’s super easy to break into sliders. The slider is nice for air flow and talking to people in the bed and I’ve gotten used to the one I have now. Also, I need to figure out what to do with the white tailgate. I want a Comanche tailgate to hang up on a wall, but it bothers me it’s missing the handle *cough cough* 88mjsally. Also it’s not red so it’s not as cool for me personally (because my truck is red). I really just got stuff because it was cool and then it turned out people really thought the stuff was cool too and I don’t need a skid plate on a 2wd truck and I’m too scared to drill holes in the bed of my truck. 12. I see the dorman part number which appears to be the isolators, but unless I missed it somewhere else do you happen to know the bushing, center pins and if you got the shackles new where you got those. I’ve fought with all the stupid bushings trying to find numbers and all for my Cherokee when I went at it with that. Since that experience I haven’t wanted to do the Comanche ones. 13. Got some part numbers on those? I definitely need to rebuild my springs sometime, but I’ve been super lazy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Went back to the junkyard and got the roll bar brackets and a gas tank skid plate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Is that latch for sale? Or just an example? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Some installed pictures, not great, but it’s on there and makes a difference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I was in the same boat with my addcco bar. Ordered August 13th got it November 5th. Tightens things up a lot though. I actually welded s10 brackets on under the axle for my bar to fit kinda. Had to order some cheap shocks without the metal sleeve and it’s still super close to the exhaust and the spare tire, but it’s on there and it works. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. So it’s a plastic clip that I’d use something like rear view mirror glue to attach? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Well it’s been a minute, finally got my sway bar in the mail and installed. Had to do some custom stuff to get it to fit, but it’s on there. Went to the junkyard today and got some goodies Not sure what to do with them yet. Also, does anyone know what the latch should look like for a 3 pane slider. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. I have one I know the housing is broken on, and I have one that has fire damage, but I don’t know if the housing is good or not. I can check if still interested. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Finally sucked it up and just ordered a new 10 slot grill after not finding one for a good while. Also, decided to use the fog light panel with a second hole for my radio switch till I get an actual radio in the dash. So I put a radio delete panel in, plastic welded a new block off plate with no holes drilled in it on the right side of the wheel and put my fog lights and radio on factory switches on the left side of the wheel. Probably didn’t make much sense, but here’s the pictures. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Haven’t done too much to the Comanche besides oil changes and some mild maintenance. I got a new lighter/more balanced rear driveshaft and that really helped the ride quality. Had it built at Carolina driveline, and I ordered a rear sway bar which is back ordered so we’ll see when it comes in. Unfortunately I spent most of my money on the Cherokee since the headgasket went. Built a 4.6 stroker and bought a cage for it so that was most of this year’s vehicle money.
